I had been away on a business vacation for about a month now. Contact with my girlfriend had been limited, how I missed my love. Majorie and I had been going on a year now and I was going to surprise her with my homecoming.

Charlotte gave me a lift from the Airport, helping her longterm friend with the surprise.

"Thank you for helping out, Charlotte. I really do appreciate it." I spoke, loading my stuff into the trunk of her car.

"It was absolutely no problem! I can't wait to see the look on her face!"

"Right, let's not linger much too longer. I'm starting to feel things." I rolled my eyes. Secretly, I was excited to see my love again. We hadn't talked in a week now and I know I was feeling terrible about it, couldn't imagine how she felt.

Charlotte quickly got us out of the car park and we were on our way back to my house, where Majorie had been staying while her house was being renovated. Mia had destroyed it anyways.

Speaking of the devil, Charlotte's phone rang, Mia's name popping up.

"You don't mind-" Char winced, glancing at me. I nodded for her to go ahead and she smiled. "Thank you!"

After an hour long drive of listening to Char and Mia flirt and tease each other, we finally made it.

"Right, Mia, we've gotten to our destination so I'll see you tonight? Bye bye, I love you too." She hung up, her face as red as ever. Mine was red too, I heard that ending statement Mia had spoken.

"Right, let's just get on with it." I sighed, making Char nod as she got out.

She knocked on my front door and I hid next to it where Majorie couldn't see until she walked outside.

"Char! What a lovely surprise, come in!" She immediately spoke and I smirked.

"It's best you come out, Majorie." She smiled.

"I could say the same to you but pish posh." Her beautiful laugh erupted and I had to keep myself from grinning fully. She stepped outside the door and I saw her gorgeous face.

"Hey you." I spoke, towering over her smaller frame.

She gasped and let out a scream, jumping into my arms. I chuckled and caught her, my hands going right underneath her arse.

"You're back." She cried quietly and I kissed her head.

"I'm back, my love. For good." I looked over at Char who was recording for us. Good, now I could tease Marj about this later.

Speaking of my sweet, she lifted her head from my shoulder and cupped my face with one hand, her other around wrapping around my neck. She pressed her lips against mine and I closed my eyes, savoring the taste of her flavored lip balm.

Our lips moved in sync, it becoming more aggressive before Char cleared her throat.

"While this reunion is absolutely adorable and lovely, I kind of have plans tonight with a certain someone who shall not be named." She winced again. We parted and looked at her, Marj with a eyebrow raised and me with a knowing smirk. Charlotte blushed and looked away.

I sat Majorie down and she continued to stare up at me, my 6'3 height compared to her maybe 5'3.

"Right, I'll get my stuff from your car then." I kissed my love once more before heading to Char's car and popping the trunk. I took out my various bags and gently closed the lid. "Thanks again, Char."

"It was absolutely no issue at all! I'll see you lot at work tomorrow, no calling out Marj." She glanced at Marjorie who stammered and struggled to answer and I just smirked, taking my things inside.

"Come on, my love, let's properly catch up." I wrapped my arm around her waist after I had stepped back inside and we watched Char drive away, clearly speeding and in a rush to get to Mia.

I pulled my love inside and closed the door behind us, lifting her up again. She screamed and held on.

"Reece, you better not have dropped me!"

"You weren't concerned about that a few minutes ago."

"Oh shut up."

I kissed her and she relaxed, my hands gripping her thighs while her arms wrapped my around my neck.

Safe to say, she called out in the morning.
