Duncan's POV
Gwen brought me over to her house and we went in her backyard and started talking on the old swing set. I was talking until I stopped after seeing my beautiful Gwennie sulking with her eyes closed. "What's wrong Pasty?" Gwen sighed and looked up at me with a tear rolling down her left cheek. "Remember when my grandma had that stroke 3 years ago and barely survived? Well, she had another one a month ago and, well, I wasn't allowed to tell anyone else about it, but, my mom just texted me that..... she didn't make it this time around...." I was shocked to hear those words come out of her mouth. We have a lot of memories at her grandmas house when we were little. In fact that's where we met. "....and now my mom is having to sell it....." Gwen broke out in tears after finishing what she was saying. I quickly got off of the swing and sat right in front of her and that beautiful face of hers. I got up on my knees and slowly removed her hands from her face so that I could make contact with those gorgeous brown eyes. I smiled as I lifted up her chin and kissed her.
Gwen's POV
I'm so glad to have Duncan. After we released from our kids I wrapped my arms around him tightly as he hugged me back. Even in the cold Duncan was warm. I love getting hugs and kisses from Duncan. For him being mr juvie, he makes my feel like I'm with my dad again. A happiness that only is brought out when Duncan is with me. "Pasty, ur as cold as ice! Here, this will help..." He wrapped me up in his jacket. "I'll ask my mom if you can stay over tonight. Otherwise I'll probably break a window from me being angry with the doctors that couldn't save my innocent grandmother." He grinned at me. Ahh I love that grin. It makes me feel warm inside. I swear it's like Duncan is a heater! "Ok Pasty, you can quit staring now." He laughed devilishly. I tried my best to deny it but failed. "Hehe... No I'm not!!" I looked up. Ugh, why do I always have to look up when I lie?! "Yeah sure, just make sure you look DOWN when you text your mom." He laughed. The rest of the night was great. We watched the normal horror flick, ate pizza, drank beer, and made out most of the movie. Pretty much the usual schedule. I just wish we didn't have to get up at 6 for school in the morning. What a nightmare that's gonna be.
