His Return

Bridgette's P.O.V.

"We've got to go see him man!" Geoff said blindly not seeing Gwen's frozen face. But before Gwen could answer Geoff, Duncan swooped in.

"We can't go right now, Gwen isn't even moving right now, let alone actually wanting to see the man that walked out on her and her family 6 years ago!" He said as he was waving his hand in front of Gwen's face, trying to break her solid stare, not even twitching. I inched over and her and started rubbing her back. Suddenly she wrapped her arms around me and mumbled into my back.

"I-I can't believe he's back." As she pulled away she was smiling so big it made Duncan's face light up. He may act tough, but when it comes to Gwen he's willing to let his guard down and care for her tearing down every inch of his tough and hard exterior.

He kissed her cheek which is so adorable thinking Duncan of all people would softly pant kisses on a girls cheek and care so much about a girl that it almost seems like he would actually die without her. At this point, Gwen was beaming with energy. She sprinted off into the woods screaming, "WooHoo!!" No one has ever seen this side of her except for when Geoff scratched at the edge of it when they got handcuffed together on TDI.

Gwen started smiling so big that you could just about blind someone with how bright her smile was. "Can you guys wait behind me when we see him? I kind of want to see him by myself for a second." She asked with a calm smile while rubbing her arm nervously. We all nodded. Gwen smiled and hugged Duncan as we started to walk back to her house.

When we reached the stop sign in front of her house, Gwen turned around and said, "Wait here. Thanks for coming with me." She smiled as she slowly walked up to the walkway. Before she had walked even half way, the door opened....
