Two Doors...Two Hearts

Chapter 7 - Truth... Truth... and some more Truth

Tankhun had never seen his brother in that state...

He had gotten a call from one of the guards, letting him know that his brother-in-law had met with an accident just outside of the parameter of their house and that he was taken to the compound medical facility...

He was tasked with at the very least telling Kinn... and Kinn would know what to do...

By the time he had gone to see Kinn, He could see that his brother had already been informed and was in the process of calming down - very agitated, unconsolable - Porsche...

But to see Kim sitting in the waiting room was a different kind of pain...

There was blood on his disheveled white shirt, He was too calm, too quiet, almost non-present... He didn't do more than look at Porsche when he came into his vision before he took hold of Kim's labels...

"WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?"

The Surprising part was that he hadn't reacted, He had only looked at Porsche before pushing his hands away and going back to his calm vigil.

Kinn pulled Porsche to his side, seating him as far away from Kim as possible...

Tankhun took it as a chance to sit by Kim's side, balancing things out...

"What happened, Nong? They said it's a car accident... is it?"

Kim nodded, He didn't say anything further...

"How hurt He was?"

"Badly..."

Tankhun looked at the pain that itched into Kim's face when he said that single word, and He could tell that Kim hadn't only meant the physical hurt, there was something else as well.

"He came to me asking for a way to talk to you... Did He talk to you?"

Kim's facant eyes met Tankhun and Tankhun feared the answer Kim had...

"He did..."

Kinn wanted this all to be some sort of a nightmare...

They had been waiting for what seemed to be hours when the doctor walked out...

Kinn had barely heard what the doctor said, his focus on keeping Porsche and Kim away from each other, not that Kim had wanted anything to do with Porsche, to begin with.

He heard talk of swallowing of the brain, of temporary coma, and a very critical situation...

"It's our main concern now... the broken bones and ribs will heal but that... it's worrying..."

His brother and his husband had such different reactions and while Kim had fallen silent, his face very ashen and pale, his husband had screamed and wailed his dispair...

"I told you he would end him... I told you so..."

Kim hadn't looked at Porsche, only closing his eyes momentarily before opening them again...

Tankhun moved before Kim would... before another screaming match erupted again, nodding for Kinn to take Porsche away for the time being...

"It's an accident... it was just an accident... He will be fine..." Kinn said soothingly.

"Why? Why would he go out of that house running and miss the speeding car? Is that normal in your book?"

It wasn't normal, definitely was a result of a very heated fight, or rather something else, but Kinn wasn't going to say such a thing in Porsche's current state...
