Sasha halted her scooty in front of the restaurant where Salaar and Warda were supposed to meet. Sasha and Hana quickly hid their faces under the black veil of their Burkhas.

“Sasha, what if Bhai caught us? He may let you go but he will definitely disown me,” Hana mumbled with a hint of fear in her tone. Even though she desperately wanted Sasha to become her Bhabhi, but still she was very scared of her Bhai's wrath. And Salaar wasn't interested in marrying Sasha at all. But Sasha was persistent.

“Hana, all women look the same under Burkha. Don't worry,” Sasha assured her best friend and both of them entered the restaurant.

“Sasha, they are already here. Look, they are smiling at each other, ” Hana nudged Sasha who immediately began boiling in jealousy seeing Salaar smile at Warda.

“Ah, he is smiling at her. And always keeps glaring at me. How mean!” She pouted.

“Aye, let's sit in that corner table.”

Hana pulled Sasha with her and both of them sat down on the table.

“What would you like to order, ladies?” A young waitress around their age asked.

Hana flipped through the menu, “White sauce pasta for both of us.”

Sasha's eyes were glued to Salaar and Warda. She was there to disturb their lunch date so that they don't get the chance to discuss their marriage. Even though Salaar was hell bent on not marrying Sasha, yet she was hopeful that she will somehow melt his heart one day.

“Excuse me,” Sasha called the waitress who was about to leave.

Sasha passed her a sweet smile while handing her five hundred rupees, “Look at that lady in white dress. Drop cold drink on her dress and make her leave the table.” She instructed the waitress, who agreed immediately after receiving the money and left to do the job.

Hana frowned at Sasha's idea, “But, Sasha, dropping cold drink on Warda's dress won't do anything to break their engagement.”

“Hana, my intention is to only sour her mood. It will definitely disrupt their conversation.”

“Alright, let's see if it works,” Hana shrugged and looked back at Salaar and Warda. She wasn't entirely convinced.

The waitress went to Salaar and Warda's table with their order and ‘accidently’ dropped the cold drink on Warda's white dress. Warda gasped and stood up from her seat, wiping the stain with napkins. The waitress mumbled a series of apologies and guided her to the restroom. Sasha and Hana did a silent high-five.

Salaar was now sitting alone, waiting for Warda to return. But then his gaze fell on the two girls wearing Burkha.

Hana panicked when her brother's eyes landed on her. Sasha's condition was no different.

“Sasha, Bhai recognized her!” Hana whisper-yelled at her bestie.

“Hana, we should leave,” Saying so Sasha quickly got up, so did Hana.

Both of them were about to leave when they heard Salaar's voice.

“Hana! Sasha!”

They turned around, shivering in nervousness and saw him heading towards them with a glare.

“What are you both doing here?” Salaar asked in a not-so-pleasant mood.

“Umm... Bhai, we came here to eat lunch,” Hana replied while trying her best not to stammer.

“Oh, really? You aren't here to spy on me?” Salaar glared at his sister, who learnt to speak lies in Sasha's company.

“Hana, wait outside for Sasha.”

Hana and Sasha shared a worried look before Hana walked away. Now Sasha was left all alone to bear Salaar's wrath.

“Sasha, just because I refused to marry you, you are going to turn my sister against me and my fiancee?”

“I'm not turning her against you. I'm just being hopeful.”

“Hopeful, huh? I will make sure Hana ends her friendship with you. Get lost.”

Sasha felt like punching him on his handsome face. She controlled her urge to throw colorful words at him and headed towards her scooty where Hana was waiting for her.

“What did he say?” Hana asked her anxiously.

“Nothing much,” Sasha waved off.

Sasha was dressed in an orange Anarkali suit. She didn't apply kohl that day, fearing that her tears will ruin it in seconds. Because it was Salaar's Nikkah. She plastered a fake smile on her face during all the functions and was doing the same that day.

“Sasha, I know you are very sad today.” Hana consoled her best friend.

“Hana, I tried my best to win his heart all these years. Maybe we weren't meant to be.” Sasha replied in a gloomy mood.

“Don't worry, you will meet a better person than Bhai.” Hana smiled.

Sasha nodded understandingly, finally letting go of the craze she had for Salaar.

But who would have known that Sasha will actually end up marrying Salaar. Even Sasha couldn't believe the turn of events as she mumbled Qabool Hai thrice and became Sasha Salaar.

It happened unexpectedly. But it did happen.

But what exactly went wrong in Salaar's life that he had to marry the girl he was running away from?
