Sanya didn't want to ruin her Sunday by visiting Raizada's. But her mother forced her to go there, saying that she should spend some time with her future in-laws and get to know them.
“Does that even make sense? I know them since childhood. I'm already familiar with their likes and dislikes,” Sanya muttered to herself before pressing the doorbell.
Few moments later, the door was opened by the househelp, who greeted Sanya and took her to where Sanya's soon-to-be in-laws were sitting.
Kishore Raizada and Kalyani Raizada look like a power couple sitting together. But Sanya always felt like their relationship is not as perfect as it looks. There's always some tension between them. And it always seemed weird to her.
“Oh, Sanya beta, how are you?” Her mother-in-law came forward to hug her.
“I'm good, Aunty,” Sanya smiled and accepted the hug.
When the hug ended, Kalyani requested to her, “You came at the right time. Ekansh is acting weird since morning. Can you please go to his room and bring him downstairs?”
“Sure, Aunty,” Sanya readily agreed and headed upstairs.

As usual, Sanya entered the room without knocking at the door. And as usual, Ekansh was got off-gaurd by her sudden intrusion into his bedroom.
“Ooh, I like the view here,” Sanya teased Ekansh, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she leaned against the doorframe. Ekansh closed the book with a soft thud and turned his full attention to her, a playful glint in his eyes.
“How come my Kumbhkaran is here so early in the morning?” he asked, stretching his arms lazily.
Sanya giggled and flopped down beside him, the bed dipping under her weight. Ekansh immediately wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. She nestled her head on his bare chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her cheek.
“Maa sent it me here. I wanted to sleep more,” she murmured, her voice tinged with a sleepy pout.
“Then sleep with me,” Ekansh suggested, his smile widening as he tightened his embrace.
“Aunty said you are acting weird since morning,” Sanya said, her tone laced with concern.
“Can't we talk about romantic stuff instead?” Ekansh asked, his fingers gently tracing patterns on her back.
