Cassandra was currently running around her apartment trying to gather her things for class. She had set 5 alarms and still managed to wake up late.

"Shit shit shit"

She was a mess this morning. Cassandra quickly got into her car and drove to class. She made it to the building, but didn't know where to go. She was now visibly frustrated.

"Need help?" Asked a voice from behind her.

Cassandra turned around to see Paige.

"Omg yes, I'm so lost"

"I gotchu.. let's see..." Paige said taking the schedule from Cassandra. "Oh you have a social sciences next, me too. Come on"

Paige turned around and motioned Cassandra to follow her. Cassandra stood still. Her gut was telling her something, but she didn't know what. Paige turned around noticing the girl was not following. Paige raised her eyebrows with a "you coming?" expression. Cassandra looked the girl up and down before giving in. Paige led her down the hall to a brown wooden door, with "Mr. Gibbs" written on the front. Paige knocked on the door. No response.

"Are they going to let us in?" Cassandra questioned.

"Yeah give it a minute"

Just as she said that the door swung open.

"Ah Bueckers you're late." Said a visibly older black male, who Cassandra presumed to be Mr. Gibbs.

"As always" Paige joked causing the both of them to laugh.

The male then turned his attention to Cassandra.

"You must be the new transfer."

Cassandra nodded.

"Welcome to our class Ms. Noel. I'm Mr. Gibbs" he said holding his hand out.

"Pleasure to meet you" Cassandra smiled shaking his hand.

He moved out of the way allowing the two girls to enter.

"You can take a seat next to Paige. Paige show her"

Paige nodded and motioned to the empty spot next to her. Cassandra nodded and sat down.

She found her self paying attention and being interested in the topic. His class wasn't boring. He knew how to make it fun for his students, while keeping it professional. Cassandra respected that.

Soon the class came to an end. Cassandra gathered her things and headed out the door, but she was stopped by a certain someone. I wonder who it could be?

Cassandra huffed already knowing. She turned around and was met face to face with none other than Bueckers.

"Yes?" Cassandra questioned irritation.

"What's your next class? I can help you find it if you need." Paige stated.

"Thanks, but I don't have one right now. And I know where my next class is."

"Great I don't have a class neither. We should hang out"

"No."

"Aww why please? It'll be fun I promiseee" Paige pleaded.

Cassandra huffed again. She mentally rolled her eyes.

"Fine"

Paige smiled. "Come on then"

As the two were walking down the halls together once again, they were stopped.

"Where are you going? Mathematics is the other way if you forgot." Said the unknown girl.

Cassandra then looked at Paige. So she does have a class right now?

"I'm skipping Kk" Paige said with an unamused expression.

Cassandra mentally noted down the girls name.

"Oh um okayy girlll. Have fun I guess." Kk laughed. "See ya Paige and Paige's girlfriend"

"I'm not-"

But before she could finish the girl was gone.

"Paige's girlfriend..." Cassandra sighed.

"I don't know why you act like being my girlfriend is the worst thing in the world." Paige said as they started walking again.

"Because it is" Cassandra laughed.

Paige looked a little hurt for a split second, but quickly covered it up by making it look like she was joking.

"Ouch my heart is breaking" Paige said dramatically clutching her chest.

Cassandra playfully rolled her eyes while laughing. Get a load of this guy.

"You know what's crazy?" Cassandra started.

"Shoot" Paige said nonchalantly.

"It's been like what? Four days of us "dating" and you are already lying to me" she said using air quotes.

"It was a harmless lie" Paige brushed off.

"Hmmm I don't think so"

"It's not even allat, I don't know why you care" Paige said harsher than expected.

"I don't care" Cassandra shot back.

"Sure seems like it" Paige said smugly.

"Okay whatever dude. Do you still wanna hang out or not?"

"Nah I got shit to do anyways." Paige said.

That's all Cassandra needed to hear.

"See you then" Cassandra said backing away.

Paige looked back at her. "Bye bae"

Cassandra scoffed and started walking away. As she approached the door she heard Paige call out.

"You know you love me!" Paige hollered.

Cassandra didn't turn around to look at the girl. Instead she kept walking and stuck her the middle finger. She heard Paige laugh from afar. Cassandra smiled.
