Waking up, Nathan looked at his wife as she slept and smiled. He couldn't wait to start a life with her as they wait to see if their apartment they have picked out is approved. Haleigh stirred a bit, but stayed asleep. Seeing the bump forming more, Nathan couldn't wait to meet his baby. They don't know exactly what she is having as the baby is hiding what he or she is. Sometimes, he thinks they are having twins.
"Nathan?'
"Yeah, baby."
"You're staring and not in bed."
"About that. Dad woke me up and wants to bond." Haleigh looked at him. "Trust me, it's something I don't want to do. I rather be with you and our little one."
Haleigh smiled at him as she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him. "Just this one trip and then if things don't work out, come home to me and this one." She took his hand and placed his hand on her small bump. "I love you and be careful becaue one day, it will be our child you do this with.""I'm taking you with me." He says. "I will make it a family trip. Not just me and my child."
Haleigh smiled as she kissed him. "I love you."
"I love you. I'll see you later."
"Okay. I'll be here cleaning up."
"Don't do much."
Dan stood there listening to them and sighed as his son's marriage was a perfect example of true love. The one he had with Karen before leaving her to be with Deb. A mistake he will forever regret making. Walking away to let Haleigh and Nathan have some time together before leaving.
"I guess I'm going to go."
Haleigh watched him walking away before speaking. "Nathan?" He looked at her. "If things don't work out and you can come home, I will make the night better for you."
Nathan groaned at his wife. "Tease."
"And proud of it. Now go."
Nathan smiled as she kissed him one last time. She watched him leave causing her to smile. She couldn't wait for them to take trips with their kids.
