Chapter 13 A Ghost from the Past

As Jiraiya, Y/n and Naruto were seen walking on their way to find the Tsunade, Naruto asked a question to his grandfather figure.

Naruto: "Hey Pervy sage."

Jiraiya: "Naruto, You know I am like your grandfather and you shouldn't call your grandfather a perv."

Naruto: "Maybe don't do peek on girls and I'll consider it but anyway how old is that Tsunade lady supposed to be?" He said looking at Jiraiya's hair.

Jiraiya: "She's the same age as me, Naruto."

Y/n: 'Seems like we are looking for an old woman.' Y/n thought. It seems Naruto shared his thoughts.

Naruto: "So what's she like anyway?"

Jiraiya: "I see you're curious. Well let's see, she's unpleasant and is a known die hard gambler."

Y/n: "Tracking one of the sannin who's well-known shouldn't be that difficult."

Jiraiya: "She's famous alright. She's known as the legendary sucker, but I'm afraid she's not easy to find."

Y/n: "Why? Does she live in hiding or something?"

Jiraiya: "Well, She's fifty now, but when we find her she may look like she's in her twenties. That's not all though, as the way I hear it, She may change on the fly going from a teen to thirty to forty. She does that to cut on any money lenders she's in deep trouble with."

Y/n: 'Someone like her is given the title of sannin.' He thought with a hand under his chin.

Jiraiya: "She loves gambling more than anything. Too bad she has no luck or skill in it. She's made a sucker so many times the name is just with her, but then again she would just borrow money and skip out on her debts............It really bring me back."

Naruto: "We don't have time for nostalgia, do you have a plan to find her?"

Y/n: "Its rude to interrupt someone talking Naruto, But you do have a point. How are we gonna find her Lord Jiraiya?"

Jiraiya: "I don't have anything planned but I'm sure we'll come up something on the road."

Naruto: *Letting out a groan* "Ughhhh, So you don't have the slightest idea how long this is gonna take, do you?"

Jiraiya: "Don't you worry. Not a minute will be wasted while we are on the road."

Naruto: "What do you mean by that?"

Jiraiya: "Well I did promise I would train you right. So that's what we're gonna do, while we search for Tsunade." As he said that Naruto had a happy grin plastered on his face. He quickly took out the green body suit given to him by Guy.

Naruto: "Why didn't you took the suit Y/n?" He said, questioning Y/n.

Y/n: "That's because...........I am just comfortable in my own clothes and I think it's best you stick with orange."

Time skip

The leaf trio soon arrived at a small town full of different stands and shops. Naruto looked around in awe, taking in all the different kind of attractions in the small town. Y/n just looked around trying to figure if there was a festival going or some other event.

Naruto: "Look at this place, It's so lively." Y/n nodded in agreeance.

Naruto: *To Jiraiya* "So when can we start training pervy sage?"

Jiraiya: "Don't get ahead of yourself, we have to train while looking for leads on Tsunade. Otherwise it's not gonna mean anything to you.............This town is where we will begin our search. So it's best if you two can go and take in the sights of this town."
