Astrai has a girlfriend, and they have been close since 3rd grade. They started dating in 6th grade and have never broken up or had a fight since then! Her name is Melsie and she has the power of clouds, and will protect Astrai at all costs, even though Astrai knows she can protects herself, but Melsie will still protect Astrai like a guard dog. Melsie has average grade, and usually gets B's in all her classes because she doesn't really care about grades. She has been to the Ocoris, the dragonian isles many times and is quite good friends with most dragons.
Melsie like to go by Mels or Mel for short but does not mind being called Melsie. She is quite trained in her cloud powers, not as much as Astrai, but is definelty over the normal school level. She suspects they gave her baby courses instead of the normal courses even though multiple times was it proved that she hasgon through the normal course. She does not like to be treated likee a baby because she know she can do stuff by herself. The only one who can baby her is her girlfriend, and still she does not like to babied.
( 230 words! also the main story does not start until chapter 5, these are introductory chapters and i hope to make the actual chapters longer!)
