That Evening Rain

Sleepover. 2

'Kim Taehyung, is this your name huh! '
As soon as he saw the text, his head snapped at the sender sitting across him, whose eyes were already over him flicking with amusement.
Taehyung sent him an annoyed glare, grimacing over his lack of attentiveness the entire time.
Jungkook kicked his legs to further enrage his aggravation, giggling when Taehyung pouted instead.

"Joon you and Jungkook handle the dishes and clean table too", Hoseok ordered getting up to head to the mini theatre they had organised.
Taehyung and Jimin quickened their eating, excited for the programs ahead, while Yoongi already dumping his dishes to the sink before following Jin and Hoseok.

"Gguk, finish fast, we have tasks ahead", Namjoon went to clean the dishes, first with water and to segregate damp waste to the dustbin.

"Jungkook, hey", Jimin patted his shoulder. He decided on having a conversation with the youngest after finishing his food.

"Hi"

"College or school?"

"First year, college"

"Uh, a year younger. Major?"

"Technical Engineering"

"Same dude, Chemical Engineering", Jimin poked his side after sitting beside him.

"Woah, didn't expect that"

"Jungkook eat fast", Namjoon called out.

"Have to leave Jimin, meet you there in the movie", he left while hitting Taehyung's shoulder leaving Jimin in shock.

"What was that, do you guys know each other?", He enquired Taehyung.

"Not really, Minie, remember the day i came over at yours, i met him. Basically saved his pet"

"Woww, so you already got someone", Jimin teased him too.

"Bitch, we just acquainted, nothing much"

"So you knew he would be here"

"Ofcourse not you-"

Jin interrupted them asking to come upstairs soon as the arrangements were done.

The hall was set with some small sized boofers at each side of the walls. The empty area had the front wall provisioned for the reflection through the focal point of the projector mirrored at it.
They waited for Joon and Jungkook to join in and later the movie got started.
Jungkook sat beside Jimin, and Taehyung on the other side.
The trio was partially excited for the same as Jimin's attention was over somebody else's who got sun like warmth and such a radiating smiley face which was difficult to look away from. Taehyung was trying to focus on the movie while looking here and there as well, might be weaker in focusing or might have become one then.
Jungkook's case was really better as in he was trying really hard to help his bored sophisticated self. He was paying attention to the screen but yeah some romantic scenes were absolute misery to his broken self so he tried to avoid them.

"Jungkook, you okay", Taehyung patted when he saw his eyes sparkling with wetness. He thought of checking on him.
Jungkook jumped kinda surprised by the sudden intervention but smiled nonetheless seeing who it was.

"Yeah, fine."

"Jungkook, your family seems great", Jimin started again.

"You think so?", he shrugged shuffling back his attention to the film.

"What does Hoseok and Jin hyung do? Are they in college too or passed out?", He asked making Jungkook huff and tilting his head to face him.

"Jin hyung is doing some job and for Hobi hyung, yes he is in college", he replied.
