-3rd POV-

When [Name] heard that they were going to have missions tomorrow, she expected something exciting and dangerous where she could show off her skills—to show Naruto how strong she was- Hold on. Why the hell was she thinking about that stupid blonde?! Hmph, she obviously meant to get a mission that would make her stronger! Not missions where they had to walk dogs, find a cat or weeding!

"Alright, you guys have a few more options for your next mission, like babysitting and weeding-" The old man sitting on a chair in front of team 7 said while smoking on a pipe before he got cut off by Naruto but [Name] was too deep in thoughts to listen, zoning out in progress. That old man was the 3rd Hokage.

[Name] could remember her big brother Itachi often telling her, when she was younger, that the Hokage was strong, and she knew that he must be undoubtedly strong because he 𝐈𝐒 the Hokage after all. However, she couldn't help but also think that that must have been way back then when the Hokage was younger and not so 'old' because in her eyes, the Hokage now looked like an old man about to break his back when he would bend down to pick something up.

Soon after some time, [Name] felt a nudge on her side, and she snapped out of her thoughts, looking at the person who had nudged her. It was her twin.

"Let's go; we have a mission tomorrow," Sasuke said, walking out of the Hokages office, expecting [Name] to follow him, but [Name] stood there stiffly, feeling a pair of piercing eyes watching her, and she instinctively looked towards the window where a crow was directly staring at her with its glowing red eyes.

A shiver ran down her spine and she felt as if the crow was staring directly trough her soul but she snapped out of her trance when hearing the Hokage clear his throat, making her glance towards him for a brief moment before she quickly left the Hokages office and catches up with her twin.

Timeskip

After [Name] and Sasuke arrived at their house, [Name] went straight to her room, ignoring Sasuke's question about why she had zoned out before at the Hokages office. Once she was inside her room, she closed the door behind her and leaned against it, staring at the wall with a blank face.

While she was staring blankly at the wall, a picture hanging on the dark corner of her room caught her attention, and she stared at it, squinting her eyes a bit, but due to the shadow casting over it, she couldn't see it, so she turned towards it and walked towards the picture.

It was a picture of her and Shisui.

"Shisui" She whispered, her eyes softening as she traced the grinning face of Shisui gently. In the picture, she was sleeping over Shisui's shoulder, who was holding her in a piggyback and had taken the picture of her while she was sleeping. [Name] could remember that day as if it had happened yesterday, and could feel herself getting lost in thoughts again, remembering that day clearly.

Flashback

It was an exhausting day for the five year old [Name], who was currently hanging upside down on a tree with her legs holding herself up on the branch.

Earlier the day, she showed her father the big fireball she could make in hope of impressing him, but she got her hopes too high, and much to her disappointment, her father didn't even praise her and simply left, leaving her by the lake, where she had shown her father the perfect fireball she could make, all alone.

"What's wrong, little crow?" A gentle voice snapped her out of her thoughts, and she she almost lost balance and would fall from the tree if the person hadn't quickly grabbed her leg and held her up.
