Y/n's Pov:
As Sienna and Oscar were bringing Summer, and our new ally, Prince Merlin up to speed on what we've been through up to this point at the Watchtower, I was down on Earth in the Looney Tunes district of this dimension trying to figure out what my final trail is supposed to be.
I was in a theater which had a talent show going on, hosted by some amphibian king or something.
Anyway, one of the contestants definitely didn't fare too good.
As I checked the program in my hand, one of the next contestants was a former queen.
When the frog announced her and the curtains raised up, I was shocked to see who this queen was.It was queen Tyr'ahnee of Mars from the Duck Dodgers series.
I was astounded at how she sounded like an angel. I think that she could even give Jessica Rabbit a run for her money.
However, despite what everyone else sees from the obvious features, I saw from her eyes that she was actually hurting, the kind of hurt that you would only see by means of slavery.Y/n; "(to myself) What happened to you to have such sad eyes?"
Once the show was done, I managed to find her dressing room.
When I knocked, I heard her voice being all choked up which means that she was crying as she responded, "Leave me alone" with such anguish.
I don't know what happened to her yet, but she clearly needed help.
As I opened the door, I realized that it really wasn't a dressing room you would expect at all, but an alleyway outside the building, as she also had a radio playing a song most people would be familiar with in times like this.
When it finished, she turned around to see me.
Tyr'ahnee; "What do you want of me?"
Y/n; "Sorry. It's just that through your performance back there, I couldn't help but notice such sad eyes from you. Why is that?"
She was slightly confused and taken by surprise seeing a human like me feeling concerned about her.
Tyr'ahnee; "You... actually saw that in my eyes?"
Y/n; "I'm the kind of person who looks past beyond the physical. I thought you were supposed to be ruling Mars, not being in a alley"
Tyr'ahnee; "Well... a revolution was raised against me. And I wasn't able to stop it. Because of it, I was stripped of my title, and banished from Mars. Queen of Mars is only a stage name I use to perform now, as I've got nowhere else to go. I was forced to work here for nothing, I'm a slave here"
Then, a storm started pouring down.
I couldn't bear to see her like this, so I casted a barrier spell to keep the area we were in shielded and dry from the rain, as she was surprised to see that I can do magic.Y/n; "It's clear that you definitely deserve better than this"
That's when a tough frog thug burst the door open.
Frog thug; "Tyr'ahnee! Your next performance starts in ten minutes! You get your sorry sore tuckis on that stage by then, or you're fired!"
And he slams the door shut very hard and loud.
Y/n; "If it'll make you feel better, I can turn that thug into a froglegs dinner" as I pound my fist.
Because of what I said, I actually got a giggle out of her.
Y/n; "Hey, a giggle. When was the last time you had a good laugh?"
Tyr'ahnee; "Not since that revolution. You know what? I think I'm starting to like you"
And so, by doing some negotiating, I was able to free Tyr'ahnee from this place and it was agreed that I would take her in. Once it was done, she was in better clothes than the rags she was she had in that alley when she wasn't in that dress.
Tyr'ahnee; "I don't know how to thank you for this"
Y/n; "It was the right thing to do. Part of my code of honor states that I should offer compassion to those in need"
Tyr'ahnee; "Well, thank you for freeing me from this place. And now, if you want, you can call me Tyra"
With that, I took Tyra with me to the Watchtower so she can meet my friends and comrades there.
End of Chapter 11.
