Goldie was petting her cat, well- her's and chrysanthemum's. The feline wasn't as much of a bother as Goldie had originally thought, she had continuously told her stubborn sister that the two of them had no need for a pet. Especially with the current mental state she had had at the time. But now tangerine (the cat) was practically her best friend, the thing was so cute! She was just about to get breakfast for the little guy as well. 8:00 am hit on the clock. Goldie stumbled backwards as a portal burst open in her own kitchen.
"What the f-" was all she managed to say before being sucked into the portal, what a wonderful way to start the morning...

Goldie let out a yell as she was punted face first into the oddly soft grass. Where was she? Goldie got up, cleared away her dizziness, and looked around, taking in her surroundings and realizing she most certainly was not the only one here. Which wouldn't have bothered her too much, until she saw...
"Chrysanthemum?!" Goldie called out. Chrysanthemum was getting to her feet with a groan. Luckily she didn't land on her side and spill out all her water.
"Goldie?" She said with a puzzled look. "Where- what is this place?" She asked with a raised eyebrow as she gazed at the other objects that were equally as startled and confused. Goldie began to count up the amount of objects in her head.
"Fifteen." She said finally.

A pine tree object walked up.
"I've read things about this..." she mumbled.
Chrysanthemum blinked.
"Huh?" She replied with a look of question.
"The competition show anomalies that were claimed to have stopped years ago?" The pine tree gazed around. "This place matches the description..."
Goldie also looked around, she was right without a doubt, this had to be a competition show, but then where was the host-
Goldie jumped back in surprise as a giant face appeared right next to her.
"Hiya!" It said with a happy tone. "The name's facey, and I'm your host for this lovely-"
"I'd like to go back to *my* dimension please." A yellow shield interrupted him boldly.
Facey turned to them with a scowl, before clearing his 'throat' and speaking again.
"I'm your host for this lovely new competition show!"

Great... this was the last thing Goldie needed in her life.
"So." Facey began once more. "Before anything else, I suggest you all get names! Based off of your objects, to make things easier." He chuckled, before snapping- wait- snapping? His fingers? Where did that snap even come from?
All of the objects were now teleported into a line.
"Now, all sixteen of you will be named one by one."
Sixteen? Goldie had counted fifteen. Unless, was that a fly? Wow... just wow... this was not at all how she expected the morning to go. Seemed a few others too, a hat object already seemed to be on the verge of having some sort of panic attack. Poor girl.
Facey floated up to chrysanthemum first.
"Your new name is vasey!"
Vasey raises an eyebrow.
"That seems too close to your name, can't I just go by chrysanthemum?"

Facey laughed.
"No! I'm calling you vasey, that's final!" He then floated up the pine tree girl.
"You're pine tree-"
"Wait!" She interrupted. "My real name is evergreen, that's close enough to my object, right?"
Facey frowned.
"Your. Name. Is. Pine. Tree." He said with clenched teeth.
Pine tree bit back another reply.
He then floated up to the next contestant. "You're magic shield!"
"No, I'm sunny." She said with a scowl.
"Magic shield."
"Sunny."
"Magic shield!"
"Sunny!"
"MAGIC-" magic shield fired a lightning bolt at his face, which he- ew, swallowed? He spoke once more after coughing a few times.
"Magic shield. Moving on!"
Magic shield glared daggers at him as he floated to the next contestant.
"Your name is autumn leaf, are you going to argue too?"
Autumn leaf blinked.
"No... it's not worth it."

"Good!" Facey moved on.
"You're butter!" Butter said something in sign language, Goldie didn't know sign language, and apparently neither did facey.
"Heh... I have no idea what you just said! So I'm going to ignore you." He moved on.
"You're homework." Homework looked at him with an unsettling blank smile.
"Okay!" He said with enthusiasm. Facey chuckled.
"See? Why can't you all be as happy as homework to get your new names?"
"Your new name is candy bar!"
"Excuse me?" She blinked. "No, no thank you." Facey frowned once more.
"You're candy bar!"
"If you really wanna give me a nickname, how about my fighter name?"
Facey blinked. "You're blind... and I'm calling you candy bar!" He sighed.
"I'm just gonna rush through, this is taking too long!"
