Karin's POV

I was just finished getting ready to sing in front of the captains and their lieutenants. Dad and Ichigo were going to play instruments for me. I took a deep breath as I checked my hair once more in the mirror. I had straightened my black hair, which now went to my mid back, I had also decided to put ice blue and white streaks in it. I have been a bit of a rebel here lately, but I am working on it. I still play soccer and I can still beat up the other guys if needed. I have been training with Dad and Ichigo for the past two years, so I can handle myself against humans or hollows, even other soul reapers if needed.

 I like to prove to others that even though I am young, a junior in high school, I can take care of myself, that I can do just fine in life. I thought of what Toshiro's response is going to be when he sees me, when he hears me sing. I haven't seen him in years, but we have emailed and texted a few times. I sighed when Ichigo and dad said that it was time to go sing.

 We now stood in front of the doors with the head captain and everyone else. The doors were opened and we walked in, everything was set up, and I am guessing that the head captain had announced our arrival and what we were here for as well. I looked at all of the captains faces, it made me a bit nervous, but then I looked to Toshiro. Toshiro had grown, he is now taller than me by a few inches and I myself had grown as well, I now stand at 5'4. So not fare, perhaps it is karma, since I used to make fun of his height all of the time. I breathed in and walked to the mike in the room. I looked at dad and Ichigo and nodded. "This my original, Young Blood." I licked my lips and rubbed my hands together, as Ichigo began to play and then dad.

 "We were making history Breaking rules and breaking free," I sang with my eyes closed and then opened them. I remember looking at toshiro at certain parts to keep up my courage. I smiled once I was done and then started to sing the next song, Dracula. I had so much fun singing and afterwards Toshiro and I took a walk together. I smiled as he walked next to me our shoulders brushing occasionally. "How has training been going?"

"Good, Ichigo and I sometimes gang up on dad, but you know same old same old." I said with a shrug. I moved a strand of hair behind my ear.

 "How are the guys?"

"Good, we still play every other day after school, they have girlfriends now, so I don't get to hang out with them as much as I used to." I was a bit sad that I didn't get to hang out with the guys much anymore.

 "What about you?"

"What about me?" I asked him confused.

"Any boyfriends?"

"Nope, I think they are all too afraid of me." I told him, as we stopped walking and now stood under a tree.

"I'm not afraid of you." Wait what, what is that supposed to mean?I turned to face him.

 "Yeah, and maybe I will have to fix that then." I told him, my voice filled with confidence.

"Yeah, maybe." It got awkward for a moment, and I looked away from him. He took my chin in his fingers and made me look at him. He searched my eyes for something, but I don't know what. He leaned in and kissed me, Toshiro, Captain Hitsugaya was kissing me. This can't be happening. I eventually gave in and kissed him back, this was my first kiss, but you know what, it was amazing.
