"Are we missing anything?" My mom asked.
"Yeah"
"What?"
"Tae ma, I thought u said he can come with us to the meet"
"Boy... come on let's pray"
I bowed my head.
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this opportunity for my son. His talent gifts will given a chance to be seen by recruits and Olympic coaches today. Thank you father and whatever distractions that want to come his way.. please move them away during this time!"
"And Jesus name was pray.. Amen. Let the people say.."
"Amen" I smiled opening my eyes.
I went in my room to grab something and I came back out following my mama out the door.
"Those are so pretty, who are those for?"
"A special person"
My mama rolled her eyes and we drove to the swim competition.

I went and put on my swimming trunks and got ready.
Everybody was in the locker room talking about the meet.
"Where Tae at?" I asked in confusion.
"Ion know, he was at practice yesterday " one of my teammates responded.
Duh dumb ass, I seen him.
