My days were like a slow shipwreck.
It was as if my life had become a deep, dark ocean,
in which I was sinking deeper and deeper,
despite my efforts to swim against the current and resurface.
Happiness seemed like a distant island, out of reach.
And then, unexpectedly, it came.
It was Love, Love at first sight.
From the depths of despair, a flicker of hope,
A heartbeat reborn, my soul set afloat.
An explosion of life, coursing through my veins,
Awakening my spirit, erasing all the pains.
It was like waking up from a deep slumber,
And with that first beat, I finally resurfaced.
In that single moment,
I realized that my life was not over,
That there was still room within me for love.
