Alpha Prince Jeon Jungkook was deep in thought at the moment while on his way back to
the capital with his sister and two friends. He was driving while Hoseok sat in the passenger
seat and his sister was at the back. They had managed to get clean clothes and retrieve their
cars from the station where they had left it. Technically, Sohee was supposed to be in the
other car with Namjoon but after their heated argument about who's fault it was that the
thiving rogue that they had caught had gotten away, everyone just got on one car and left him
to his own.
Jungkook could see the other alpha following behind them but at a further distance so has to
give him his space that he needed.
Speaking of the thieving rogue. Something about the omega had stood out to Jungkook
specifically and it wasn't the omega's unresponsiveness or the way there was no remorse in
his brown eyes about what he did. It was the anklet around his ankle.
A red string twisted and turned in a very unique pattern with little bells attached to it.
The alpha subconsciously touched his bracelet adorned around the wrist of his left hand.
It can't be. He thought. There is no way it was same thing and besides his wasn't a bracelet,
he was wearing it on his leg, a completely different jewelry.
It had the same unique style. His wolf reminded him. And the same little bells attached to it.
Jungkook fiddled with his bracelet nervously. It wasn't itchy now like it has been that night
they had chased the rouge omega but something about it resting so lightly on his wrist made
him nervous. He was nervous because he didn't understand a lot of things that had happened
that night. A lot of strange things and Jungkook hated things that had no explanation to them.
He had heard the bells on his wrist that night, for the first time, that's why he woke up and
that's why he was able to hear the rogue omega rummaging through their supplies.
It doesn't make sense. The Alpha contemplated. The bells had never rung before.even when
I shook my hands and all that. So why would it now? Was it because—no. That's silly.
Was it because of that rogue? His wolf asked the question that he had been too cowardly to
ask himself. He had the bells too you know...it could mean something .
No. It doesn't mean anything. Jungkook assured himself and his wolf. He was just a random
thieving rogue who unfortunately happened to have the same type of anklet as me. Besides we
might never cross paths again you know.
Don't say that . His wolf replied. You jinx the chances.
I don't care. Jungkook shrugged. And besides, did you see his face? He looked like someone
who needs to be put behind bars and why was his face full of smudges, if he was already not
good looking, the smudges made it worse.
"What are you thinking about, your highness?", Hoseok piped up and Jungkook shrugged
without sparing him a glance.
