~THE HATE I HAVE FOR YOU~

LEONID'S   P.O.V

I received a call from Valik informing me about Anastasia's condition. Apparently, she had a mark on her cheek, fell down, and was lying somewhere. I couldn't believe it. Whatever the reason behind it, I was determined to find out. Without wasting any time, I grabbed my phone and dialled Anastasia's number.

"Oh, Leonid, why did you call? I'm on my way back home. How about we talk while having dinner?" she answered.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "No, I'm at work. You'll be eating alone. That's why I called, because I wanted to talk to you."

"Go ahead, what do you want?" she asked nervously.

"I heard about what happened. Can you explain how you got that red mark?" I asked, my anger rising. She's mine, and I won't let anyone hurt her. I added, "Don't even think about lying, because I'll be asking Dami."

"Well... I had a meeting with a man, and he was incredibly rude. When he touched my neck, Dami got furious and slammed the man's head onto the table. In return, the man got angry and slapped me, pulling my collar. It's not a big deal, really," she spoke, unaware of my anger.

"Did you cry?" I asked again.

She remained silent and abruptly ended the call without giving me an answer. I became even more furious and angrily touched my head.

"Find out the man's name for me, Valik," I instructed Valik, who had just walked in.

Valik nodded, understanding the urgency in my voice. "Of course, Leo. I'll do some digging and find out who this man is. We won't let him get away with hurting Anastasia."

As Valik left the room to carry out my request, I couldn't help but feel a mix of worry and anger. How could someone dare to lay a hand on Anastasia? She was the love of my life, and I would do anything to protect her. The thought of her being hurt made my blood boil.

I paced back and forth in my office, unable to focus on anything else. Thoughts raced through my mind, trying to piece together the events that led to Anastasia's current condition. Who was this man? What was his connection to her? And most importantly, how could I ensure that he would never harm her again?

Minutes felt like hours as I anxiously waited for Valik to return with the information I needed. Finally, he walked back into the room, a determined look on his face.

"I found out who the man is, Leonid," Valik said, handing me a file. "His name is Viktor Petrov. He's a known troublemaker in the city, involved in various criminal activities, but not involved in Mafia stuff like us, but he killed a lot before."

My grip tightened on the file as I read through the details. Viktor Petrov was not someone to be taken lightly. He had a reputation for violence and intimidation, and it seemed that Anastasia had unfortunately crossed paths with him, and of course Malyshka doesn't know a thing about this.

"Valik, I want you to gather as much information as you can about Viktor Petrov," I said, my voice filled with determination. "I want to know everything about him - his associates, his whereabouts, everything. We need to make sure he pays for what he did to Anastasia."
