Luna's POV

Coming back to Pabu I was about to leave Echo's ship when Rex stopped me on my track. I turned to look at him and Batcher stopped walking as well.

Rex: "Can we talk?"

I looked back at Hunter giving him a nod and he nodded back. As he left with others I turned to look back at Rex.

Rex: "I feel guilty for putting you threw the decision that you didn't need to take. I am sorry about it."

Me: "Don't be sorry about that Rex. If I would agree to it sooner maybe we could get the information out of the clone before he was killed."

Rex: "Crosshair was right. Hemlock is smart. I lost so many of my mane today because of him."

Me: "I am truly sorry about that Rex. I will try to do everything in my power to help you get that."

He nodded.

Me: "Can I ask you something Rex."

Rex: "Of course."

Me: "Arwin Skywalker. Riyo told me that you knew her. And as I saw a picture I saw that I look like her a little so..."

I was sure that I said something wrong when he looked at the ground, but I was surprised when a small smile appeared on his face as he looked back up.

Rex: "Riyo was right. I knew Arwin Skywalker. Better than anyone. Even her brother and master. It was her that got the chip out of my head."

Me: "It would seem that she and you were more than just friends. By the sound of your voice and the look in your eyes."

A chuckle left this mouth.

Rex: "We were. Even taught it was forbidden couldn't stay apart. She was my everything."

Me: "What happened to her?"

Rex: "She blamed herself for the pain the galaxy felt when the clones turned their backs on Jedi. She left and ever since then, I haven't seen her. But one thing is for certain. You look like her a lot. Not only from the outside but from the inside as well. You are brave, caring, kind, and smart as her. Like you were her...."

Me: "...clone."

By looking into his eyes I could see that he already knew that. With a long sigh, he walked past me and I turned my body around seeing him and he stopped a few steps away.

Me: "The lightsaber. Was hers wasn't it?"

Rex: "Yes. It was."

He turned his body towards me so he could look at me.

Me: "So you knew from the very start?"

Rex: "Yes. But I didn't understand how. You are almost her age. The only way this could be real was if they took her DNA at a very young age."

Me: "Without her knowing."

Rex: "If she knew about you she would do anything to get you out of Kamino. Trust me, Luna, she didn't know."

Me: "How can you explain the lightsaber? Why did she give it to you?"

Rex: "This lightsaber was a twin. She had another one just like that. She gave it to me because she knew that someone would need it. You need to trust me Luna she didn't know."

Me: "I hear you. I just can't believe it."

I turned around and began to leave.

Rex: "Luna wait..."
