The bad first impression

Undyne (with you on her shoulder) is the first one to walk in, sans being the next and papyrus the last. The lab is dark, like really dark, the lights are turned off, you can't see anything. You look around quickly, trying to see something. But it's nearly impossible.

Suddenly you see something move in the dark, your eyes widen and as you're about to jump out of undynes grasp to maybe kick the unknown creature, the lights turn on. You see... a lizard monster? Well at least that's what you think. It seems to be a yellow lizard in a lab coat, it is quite short, definitely shorter than you by around a head, it's wearing glasses that don't show much of its eyes.

"Oh, h-hello un-undyne, p- papyrus and sans and" it's eyes shot open as it looks at you "the human!" It says rather loudly. Is that a good sign or....?

"Oh my stars! Hello human!" Where did its stutter go? "It's so good to finally meet you!" It quickly walks towards your group as undyne puts you down on the ground (finally) even though right now you didn't want to be put down anymore.

It walks over to you and takes your hand and takes your glove off, starting to inspect your hand

"I really wanted to meet you, but never had the chance. But it's so good that your here right now. Oh my star look at this, the flesh is so soft! And you hands bone structure!" She starts talking quickly, the small lizard monster then starts to open and close your fist "so amazing!"

Alright it's ... why is it acting like that... I mean it hasn't ever seen a human, right, but none of the others did either, but they never started acting like that...

You don't really say anything, just stand there uncomfortably, as this monster you met a few seconds ago observes your hand

Sans and papyrus seem to feel your discomfort  as they start talking

"Excited?" Sans teases casually, or that's what others would think. He's actually giving alphys a quick slap back to reality, she seems to be lost in the excitement and definitely making the human uncomfortable.

"too excited..." papyrus mutters really quietly so that only his brother can hear, so neither you, nor undyne catch it, neither does alphys.

"Oh! Sorry... awfully rude of me" it hands you back your glove and you put ot back on, it doesn't seem regretful at all... the small monster let's go of your hand and stretches hers, offering a hand shake "im alphys" oh, so this is the alphys they were talking about, papyrus was definitely more correct than the others, it's good to sometimes be wary of things other people like

You look at her yellow hand (paw?) You don't really wanna shake her hand but it will be rude... will she be offended? Not that you care but you don't wanna make enemies down here, you have enough on the surface. You extend your hand, grasping hers in yours

"Y/n... nice to meet you" not really.

"It definitely is!" Alphys says happily (unlike you) "you think it would be possible for me to have a small observation session on you?" She asks excitedly while grasping your hand tighter. You grimace a bit, taking a small step back and trying to get your hand out of hers (which you can't cause she doesn't let go, you have to yank your hand out of hers it seems, but that again would be kinda rude) you want to yank your hand out of her grasp until papyrus (thank god) decides to step in, he walks closer and stands on your left, he then puts his hand on your shoulder

"I THINK YOU'RE LOSING YOUR CONTROL THERE, ALPHYS" papyrus says, his voice holding a warning in it that alphys took notice of immediately. She let's go of your hand quickly.

"O-oh, so-sorry captain, i didn't mean a-any harm, just a small ch- check up, on her soul and s-such" there's the stutter again, and she wasn't even looking at you while apologizing! At it was directed at papyrus! you step closer to papyrus, you don't trust her at all "i just g-got a bit excited" she says trying to cool the captain off, but when she looks at papyrus, she's met with papyrus's dissatisfied face, it seems it takes more than that to convince the tall skeleton.
