It's Wednesday, October 31, 2018, and the crisp air of Halloween morning filled Breanna's room as she stirred awake at 5:30 am. Her alarm buzzed softly, nudging her out of the comfort of her blankets. As the haze of sleep lifted, the excitement of the day began to take hold. Halloween was finally here, and the day promised to be filled with fun, laughter, and a bit of spookiness. Breanna rubbed her eyes and reached for her phone, glancing at the notifications before checking the time again. She had plenty of time to get ready for school, but she knew she had to get moving soon.

She stretched and got out of bed, the cool floor sending a shiver through her as she made her way to the bathroom. She turned on the light and looked at herself in the mirror, smiling at the thought of the costume she had prepared. This year, she was dressing up as Harley Quinn. Breanna quickly washed her face and brushed her teeth, the routine helping to wake her up fully. She tied her hair back in a loose ponytail and headed back to her room to get dressed. She decided to wear something comfortable for the morning and save her costume for later, so she slipped into a pair of jeans and a cozy sweater.

By 5:45 am, she was ready to head downstairs for breakfast. The house was still quiet, and she enjoyed the peaceful moments as she made herself a bowl of cereal. She glanced out the window at the dark sky, the first hints of dawn just beginning to show. It was going to be a great day, she thought to herself as she ate, savoring the anticipation of Halloween. Once she finished breakfast, Breanna grabbed her backpack and double-checked that she had everything she needed for school. She couldn't forget her costume, which she had carefully packed the night before. She slung her backpack over her shoulder and headed out the door, ready to start the day.

As she walked to her porch, the early morning chill made her breath visible in the air. She pulled her sweater tighter around her and smiled at the sight of Halloween decorations adorning the houses in her neighborhood. Jack-o'-lanterns glowed softly on porches, and cobwebs hung from doorways, adding to the festive atmosphere. When the bus arrived, Breanna climbed aboard and found a seat, slipping on her headphones to listen to some music. The bus ride to school was filled with her favorite Halloween songs, getting her even more excited for the day's events. Today was going to be a day to remember.

At 7:45 am, Breanna arrived at school and headed straight to the cafeteria to grab breakfast. The cafeteria was buzzing with excitement as students, many in costume, chatted about their plans for the evening. Breanna joined the line and picked up her usual breakfast, finding a seat with her friends to start the day. Breanna finished her breakfast and headed to Mr. Gilcrest's class for 360. As she walked into the classroom, she was greeted by familiar faces—Jaydon, Corey, Claudette, Hayden, and a few other classmates. The room was decorated with Halloween-themed decorations, adding to the festive spirit of the day.

Mr. Gilcrest, dressed as a mad scientist, welcomed everyone with a smile. He had prepared a special Halloween-themed activity for 360, which got everyone excited. Breanna sat with her friends, eager to see what the class had in store for them. The activity turned out to be a Halloween trivia quiz, with questions about spooky folklore, famous horror movies, and ghostly legends. The class split into teams, and the competition heated up as they tried to answer the questions correctly.
