Tsutako's POV
Morning... Kanao-san braided my and the girls' hair. I got my arrow and bow, my swords for training while waiting for the others, suddenly, the others shown up. After a bunch of adults' conversation about demons rising again, she gave me a butterfly hairclip which is suppose to be my mother who is dead. Don't know what she looked like but Kanao-san said she is very pretty, she is also one of the reasons that Kanao-san have this happy life. Kanao-san seemed close to my mother. I am happy about that.
Wait, what just happened?
That's right, I fell from a portal. Now I gotta find the others. Oh wait, I don't need to, they're right in front of me. I approached them, making sure they don't have severe injuries. I saw Hitoshi, Kanae, Kota, and... Ayako. If I can recalled, these are the only people that followed me which means the other people is still on the other side. What I should do now is to drag these people into a safe place and find exactly where are we and try to maybe reach 'home' again.
I stumbled across a bush and then saw a house. I haven't done anything but that's...fine. I turned aroundte my friends or just "children", lying almost lifeless on the ground. I approached them and started to shook them, calling their names, one by one as they all woke up. They must be confused as I am. I was also happy most of them is only a little bit younger than me. I swear, if I have to take care of the baby or maybe sometimes struggled to explain things and instructions to Hayami. They're stubborn.
"Tsutako?" Kanae was the first one to voiced out. "Do you know where we are?"
"No... but I saw a house there," I explained. "Hitoshi, can you take them there?"
"Don't demand me," Hitoshi huffed as he stood up, patting the dusk away. "Why don't you do it?"
"I'm gonna go in the woods, do you wanna do that?" I asked him back, he's annoying.
"No thank you." He muttered.
"Good, take care of them." I said and then ran away.
The reason why I ran away is because I saw a familiar light over there, wondering if that's the way home. But to be sure safety as the first priority, I'm not gonna drag the group of children here for investigation. When I got to the destination of the light, my jaw nearly hit the ground. It's the other half-souls, I assumed these are only high-ranked half-souls from their accessories. Top-ranked people literally having glimmering haori and fashionable accessories as if they're trying to blind the demons or the demons' soul.
"Hello, you must be a half-soul too, a high ranked," A girl said, behind a boy. "We are friends, considering Kami send us into places near each other, meaning that we're working on the same mission."
"I don't think so..." A boy next to be said. "Look,"
He pointed at the sky, more 'portals' open and dropping people. The lower ranks fell down from the sky. Top-ranked fly. Okay, I'm also gonna learn how to fly, nice but I'm lazy.
"We're the only ones who can see it though, other regular humans cannot." He continued.
"Then every half-souls is sended for this mission."
"Really?" I asked.
"Didn't you recieved the message?" The other girl asked back.
"What message?"
