Millie wasn't one to be very warm, usually stuck in a dark, frozen state of her own body, doing a routine as the sadness crept into her mind and overtook the way she lived life. But then there went Charlie in the bar, who was captivated enough by her to help her get her life back together, fight against everything she'd gone through, and believe again.
And Charlie was warm. Almost too warm, and the way he made her own body melt and evaporate against her clothes was new; it was a feeling she had never felt before, not even with her ex had she ever felt so intensely for a man. It made the inside of her heart seem to melt as the rest of her body heated up just the same, warming her from the inside out. She never broke a sweat around him, the comfortable feeling of his body resting beside hers, his hand in hers, or the way he simply gazed across the room at her heated her up just the same, but she felt like they belonged.
He warmed her in her frozen state
The first way he warmed her was when they first met.
