Jupiturn one shots

You're not an idiot, don't listen to him

Note: this takes place at the end and after the solar balls episode "Venus wants a makeover".

"Ah! STOP IT YOU IDIOT!!!"

"Why are you so mean to me?"

Those were the words Jupiter heard before he turned around to see a raging Venus and his husband on the verge of tears. Him and Mars stopped their conversation and went to de-escalate the situation. Mars called out Venus while Jupiter went to comfort Saturn.

"Hey Sat, what's wrong?"Jupiter said with a worried expression as he wrapped his arms around his lover.  "V-Venus -" was all Saturn could choke out  before they heard Venus yell "Enough!"

They looked again to find that Venus had thrown an asteroid at Mercury. "YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THE EARTHLINGS NAMING ME AFTER SOME STUPID ANCIENT GODDESS WELL KEEP TALKING AND YOU'LL GET A MAKE OVER!!!" Venus screamed at the top of his lungs with another asteroid in his hand.

Saturn held on to Jupiter extra tight, now he was really crying and panicking. Jupiter felt himself boiling with rage. He wanted to scream and even hit Venus for hurting mercury and scaring Saturn, but that would be a bad idea as yelling and hitting really wouldn't help Saturn. So Venus's threat was met with dead silence.

" yeah that's what I thought" Venus said with a sick smirk, satisfied with the fear he's inflicted on to the other planets. He then dropped the asteroid and went back to his orbit. Mars apologized on behalf of Venus but Saturn said that wasn't necessary in between sobs and Mars was not at fault. Mars left taking the injured and unconscious Mercury with him, now Jupiter could finally get Saturn's side of the story.

"So what happened? What led to all of that?" Jupiter said caressing his husband's cheek and wiping his tears away. "You know how everyone found out about Venus being after the Roman goddess of love and beauty?" Saturn said in a weak and hushed voice.

"Yeah, who hasn't heard about it at this point?" Jupiter chuckled

"Apparently the inner planets were taunting him about it. Venus felt like they were saying he wasn't good enough and decided he wanted to improve his looks by getting rings. So he asked for me help, I tried to give him one of mine, but I accidentally poked him in the eye, and that when he got mad and started screaming and insulting me." Saturn looked like he was gonna start crying again. "He was so scary and mean..." He broke into quiet sobs, Jupiter just held him rubbing his back and kissing his forehead and cheeks.

"So you tried to help him, but when you made a small mistake, he decided to go insane and start insulting you. You know what, I'm gonna give that little shit a piece of my mind!" Jupiter was about go but was stopped was stopped by Saturn grabbing his wrist. "Jup no that's only gonna make things worse, he'll get mad again and try to hurt you plus it was also partially my fault for being stupid and not looking where I aimed my ring." Jupiter sat back with his lover and looked at him with a sympathetic expression, and held Saturn's hand.

"Saturn do you actually believe what he said?" Saturn looked down but his husband lifted his chin. " Saturn you're not an idiot. Don't listen to him, and besides he's just bitter because he was never able to grow life." Saturn just sighed and laid his head on his lovers chest. "Thanks" he said with a smile.

"I love you" Saturn cooed

"I love you too" Jupiter whispered before pulling Saturn in for a kiss.
