Cori's lungs still heaved from the exertion of running through the castle of lions.

She peered at the bridge visor as the dust settled around the new crater that now marred the balmera's surface. In the center, was a robeast coffin.

Quiznack. JUST what we need.

PIDGE: "oh no..."

HUNK: "Please tell me there's not a giant monster in there. Please tell me it's empty. Or full of space candy. One of those two. Either one is fine."

CORI: "there's a giant monster in there." Cori observed. Hunk whimpered.

LANCE: "I don't think it's a pinata, hunk." Lance agreed.

KEITH: "if it's the same monster that attacked us on Arus, we already know how to beat it."

Voltron formed a sword, and pidge magnetized the wings to the front of her lion, creating a shield as the paladins stood at the ready for what was to come.

SHIRO: "Hold your ground!"

The coffin hissed and fell away, revealing it's innards.

Another cloud of dust billowed up and blocked her view, but she thought she could see a glimmer of red.

Whatever it was let out a green beam of energy, which Voltron narrowly managed to block with its shield.

HUNK: "It's not candy!" hunk grimmaced

LANCE: "And it's not the same monster!"

The paladins quickly pulled the shield back and zoomed towards the monster, sword at the ready as they dodged beam after beam.

Dust clear now, the monster could now be seen. It glimmered red in the sun of the balmera. It had optics everywhere, and likely, had nowhere it couldn't see. That was why it looked familiar! This was a mechanized Drazil.

SHIRO: "We need to draw it's fire away from the balmera's Surface!"

The Drazil fired a massive beam on voltron again, and Pidge grunted as the green lion took the brunt of the blow.

The paladins swerved and Keith tried to slice at it with the sword, but it dodged easily, then fired a laser out of it's optics, and hit them in the back. Green electricity danced across the surface of the black lion's torso, and the metal looked slightly scratched.

"They need covering fire! What do we do?" Allura panicked, looking nervous as she tried to think.

"Well our shields are still re-charging at eighty-one percent, thanks to that galra cruiser." Cori growled. "We could only hold out for at most a couple of minutes judging the fact that the lasers on that thing are in the million watts range."

"Take the chance." Allura commanded. "Coran, activate the particle barrier on my mark. We're going in."

LANCE: "we can't hold out!!!"

PIDGE: "My lion's energy levels are failing! If the shield retains structural damage, we're done for!"

NYMA: "Paladins! Do you need assistance?"

CORI: "negative, Nyma. if you take rollo's ship out there, that robeast will blow it to pieces."

NYMA: "We have Explosives we can arial drop on the monster."
