A week passed, and Aria never lost hope in making Sofia feel at home. Aria's efforts paid off, and deep down Sofia finally felt a bit of relief. Although her mind was filled with many thoughts, she recognized and respect Aria's genuine care and dedication.

Connor was tangled in confusing thoughts about Sofia, despite not liking her. Her gaze haunted him since the first time their eyes met. His expressive reaction didn't go unnoticed by the other girls in class. Making James increasingly worried about him.

Ms Marina stepped into the assembly hall with an announcement: they would be celebrating the 56th anniversary of the Aurora Heights.

Ms Marina: Step forward Aria and share the details. As the academy's prefect, you have the floor. Aria address the crowd, "We're celebrating the 56th anniversary of Aurora Heights after our pre exams. We'll announce the date soon. Prepare to showcase our top students all of you the academy's charm, other academies will join us for the evening.

"Thank You, Aria," Ms Marina added. As you heard we hope you won't disappoint us. Now, head back to your dorms."

Aria knew Sofia would feel uncomfortable about the celebration, being an introvert who dislike crowds. She decided to give Sofia some space and planned to discuss it with her when she felt more at ease.

When the sun up and the class begins, Ms Marina made another announcement that left Sofia feeling more uncomfortable, though she had no choice but to comply, in class Ms Marina began as you know during exams you'll learn alongside your seniors. This interactions helps you gain new perspectives and knowledge. Sofia, being new here might not be aware of this. She's already doing great, and will learn much more in time.

She added Aria mentioned that Connor hasn't been good with juniors. especially with Sofia we'll give the chance to Connor to mentor Sofia. He will treat you well and share his senior experience and knowledge with you.

And all of you after the class visit prefect office to find your exam partner and mentor this year. Remember mentors will change next year. now back to your studies, we'll see you on exam day Thank you.

After classes Sofia headed back to her dorm. With Aria and James busy in the head office for exam week, Sofia had to manage things alone. On the way
Connor called out, "Hey blondie, I'm talking to you! Don't you have manners to stop when your senior is calling?" Other students watched, some of the girls feeling pleased because they didn't like Sofia much.

Connor continued, As Ms. Marina mentioned about the exam pairing, I want you in the library right now."looking down at the floor, Sofia silently followed him to the library. With no one else in the library, Connor asked Sofia, Do you know about my brother? Do you know him somehow?"
Sofia scared and uncomfortable, shook her head.

Take a seat already," He said. Sofia felt increasingly uneasy but sat down as instructed. And stop dumping into me," he added.

He observed her trembling hands, clearly frightened by his unexpected questions. Gazing at her he gently asked blondie Sofia, is that your name?"

She timidly nodded, avoiding eye contact.

I heard you never been to school," he remarked, his tone softening slightly. Sofia nodded once more. Why aren't you speaking? I've hardly heard you before. Last time, when you apologized, I could barely read your lips. His tone tinged with curiosity and a hint of frustration.
