Bella stared at the world going past her. She sat there in the backseat of her mothers car silently. She say there dreading the place she was going. Where was she going? An asylum. Bella didn't feel the need to go, her mother did though. Her mother wanted her out of the house. Bella knew why her mother wanted her gone.
Bella knew of all the guys her mother banged on the couch just to get rid of the emptiness that was thrust upon her after Jack, Bella's dad. Left them.
Bella didn't think she was doing harm to herself. I mean, she is just slicing her wrists open. Her mom has known about this for a year. Bella has been doing it for two.
Bella is pulled from her thoughts when she sees the old brick building come into view. She thought to herself,'wow the perfect stereotypical asylum. Of course.' Bella grabbed her small bag and her and her mother walked up the front steps. They were greeted by a man who was probably in his mid-40s, judging by his slightly graying, and receding hair."Hello Bella, I'm Dr. Chris McCann, but you can just call me Chris."
"Hi."
McCann looked at her mother.
"If you would like to say goodbye you can do so now."
Her mother scoffed,"Bye...sweetheart."
Bella wanted to gag at the fake mom act,"Bye."
Her mother stepped out of the building without another word. Chris looked at her and gave her a smile,
"Well let's get you settle in, shall we."
Shall? Seriously?
"Yeah...okay."
They began their walk down a large hallway with another nurse trailing behind. Bella could hear muffled screams and thumping noises.
And the fun has begun.
