Chapter 4.

I suffered from one broken leg faint god . I left the hospital last night with mom and my best friend Sasha who was in the car with me when the accident happened. We both had nightmares of the car flipping none stop over and over again. It's very scary to handle !!!
Sasha moved in with us and my mom helped her paint her bedroom half pink and half purple with pretty room decor and a few rugs that matched the bedroom theme colors .
She even had the very same mirror as me . I'm on crutches and a wheelchair sometimes. I actually go to therapy right now and Sasha's arm hurt like crazy she has told me . Jake our friend invited us to his tennis match. We agreed to come watch but my mom agreed to take us because we've got no choice. I say our mom because we're currently working on getting Sasha adopted by my mom . She didn't have a family but now she did and I'm glad I'm no longer the only child . I enjoy having a sister . Honestly being the only child was fun sometimes but it definitely gets very lonely. Not anymore. My mom knocked on the door- hope I'm not interrupting anything but you both got doctors appointments. I asked nervous- when ? . Mom - this next weekend. You start therapy Taylor as well !!!!!
Anyways who's ready for cheering on Jake at the match ?! She pumps her fists in the air and I wanted to burst into laughter because Sasha's face was stone cold and confused. I said who's ready for jakes match ! She repeated herself. Taylor - are we five again mom I asked laughing . Sasha burst into laughter. She finally speaks - Taylor's boyfriend you mean ?! I'm definitely not missing this tennis match. I do wish I could play tennis tho . I know sweetheart soon you both will be playing matches my mom says . Help Sash pack . Mom says running downstairs I need to start the car . Sure I say . Sasha - what's wrong with you?! . Jake Isn't my boyfriend I told her packing up my bag and hers at the same time . Sasha - I know . I was joking around. But I know you got a crush on each other. I think the whole school knows actually. He's cute but he's my best friend I just admitted it kinda . Sasha - thanks for at least admitting you're into him . Taylor- no problem sis . Lets get going or there's going to be no match to watch . Okay sure she said . I placed our backpacks in my lap in my wheelchair and scream to mom . She runs upstairs to get me and says let's go ladies . Sasha walked behind her as she's carrying me down stairs . I think we might need a ramp temporarily installed here sweethearts mom told us both . I wish she would stop calling us sweethearts. I'm annoyed. Anyways we pulled up to the school and Sasha got outta the car . My mom got out and she had to lift my wheelchair by herself. I kinda felt bad for her being a single mother couldn't be easy . Especially if you're 2 children are currently in body casts and injured . I was wondering were you guys were Jake say's walking up towards our car all sweaty . We missed one match or he's just been practicing. I'm blushing like crazy. Hey Jake Sasha says elbowing me In my waist gently since I'm in a wheelchair. Ouch I mumbled. Hey Jake I smile at him . Hey Taylor , Sasha thanks for coming I'm glad you guys are here . I just was practicing.
Sasha - is that why you're covered in sweat and looking all delicious? Taylor - Sasha!!!! .
Inappropriate! I scold her since mom thinks it's funny . Mom - sorry about that Jake . He was even laughing- it's totally fine . Anyways I'm going back to warm up . Taylor . I nodded at him not saying anything back . He walked away . He wouldn't flirt with me in front of Sasha or my mom . Faint god . I pulled out my phone to check the temperature.
70 degrees and I'm sweating . I wish I could play tennis . I'm feeling a bit depressed and I think Sasha is more happier than me because of course her arm's just broken . But she doesn't wanna rub playing tennis soon in my face. We cheer Jake on as his match starts up . I'm praying he asks me out on a date . But maybe he won't because I'm crippled?!!!
My broken leg is hurting so bad so I asked mom for my pain meds and sip it down with a bottle of water . Sasha - let's go Jake ! Smack that tennis ball all around the court !!!!!
Taylor giggles cheers Jake on - go Jake ! Go Jake ! You've got this game under control!!
My mom - wow Jake's great at tennis maybe he could help you guys get back into shape for next season? . Those words . Next season ! . I'm literally looking forward to heeling .
I could only pray I'm heeling faster with my left leg hurting this bad . I'm losing hope so fast . I'm having car accident nightmares still and I think Sasha felt the same way here . I think Jake's perfect for you Taylor mom says . Sasha laughed at this - I totally think so to . She's been crushing on the guy since middle school. Taylor - I haven't ! I defend my innocence here . Go Jake ! Sasha shouted at him as he passed by us both sweating down his face and his tank top is just drenched from sweating in this heat . I check my phone.
80 degrees hotter now . Yikes . During break time Jake was about to run towards us but then a girl from our school shouted his name and he went running over towards her . I watched them both laugh and hug . Sasha - relax that's Maddie , she's his older sister ! .
My cheeks blush with embarrassment as I lie saying I definitely knew that . Sure you did she teased me and elbows me . Look here comes your man now . Stop I scolded her .
Jake - hey Sasha , hey Taylor, thanks for cheering me on . Hi there he nodded to mom .
Mom says - anytime Jake . It was very nice to see you. I should get these guys home for dinner . Taylor - you played great tonight. Sasha - hi Jake congratulations on the win !!!
Jake smiled - thanks guys . It helps whenever you got cheerleaders standing to the side .
Well more like sitting Taylor giggling. Jake felt bad looking at her leg - right sitting I'm so sorry Taylor . You're good don't worry about me Taylor smiled . Sasha - bye Jake !!!
Bye Taylor says wheeling backwards and forwards . Do you need help there Taylor ?!!! He laughed . TAYLOR ! SASHA ! Mom shouted at us . Taylor- sure . Thanks Jake . She wheeled backwards and Jake grabbed the handle bars wheeling the wheelchair towards the van . Mom - sorry sweetheart I forgot you can't push yourself, thank you Jake !!!!!!!
Jake - no problem . He passed her my wheelchair. I'll see you guys around he smiled at me and I'm getting butterflies in my stomach. Yeah see you around Sasha teased him .
Jake - hey Taylor maybe when that legs better we could go for a coffee play some match ups ? Tennis ? . Match up's ? He's cute . She would love that Sasha says . Taylor - sure !
Jake - great I'm looking forward to it , then I guess it's a date . Goodbye Taylor he said .
I said goodbye and watched him greet his buddies after they had won the tennis match .
SASHA HE JUST ASKED ME ON A DATE ! Taylor screams . Sasha - shhh he's probably still in the parking lot . Taylor - this is the best night ever . Sasha - I'm so happy for you .
Mom - awe he's such a sweetheart. Let's get home ladies and get some dinner and rest .
We went home and ate dinner but I was way too happy to sleep . Sasha knocked on my bedroom door and I shout I can't feel my legs literally! . I kinda forgot about that part . She walked into my bedroom. At least you have your arms . Taylor - doesn't feel like it . I think mom does everything now , I miss being independent. Stupid leg is broken tho .
Sasha - at least we have doctors appointments to look forward to , however its my only thing to look forward to, Jake asked you out . I'm still in shock . Taylor - honestly same here . I kinda had a feeling he thought I was hot . She throws a pillow at my face - brat .
Taylor - honestly I hope it's got nothing to with tennis . I clearly can't even play tennis.
Sasha - actually you could but I can't . I did research on my computer tonight after we ate . I'm right handed faint god . I found information. Taylor - what kinda information?
Sasha - if you're in a wheelchair you can play basketball right? Taylor smiled and nods .
Alright well it's the same thing in tennis actually . Look up YouTube videos about it . I did . Unfortunately I'm screwed. Taylor - maybe I should practice if this is the case ?! I wouldn't wanna leave my best friend behind tho . Sasha - oh don't worry about me sis .
I think someone should ask her future boyfriend tho to teach her those tennis moves !
Hmm. I don't think that's a bad idea but I'm wondering how would Jake feel about it ?
