"Whats that bitch problem with me?" Sky mugged Mazi as he held Romani.
"She just doesnt like whatchu be saying about Al" Mazi gave his phone to Romani, Rjs daughter.
"She needa mind her business, I knew Alam wayy before she was even in the picture. Sheon even know our bond" Sky mugged Mazi.
Exhaling, "That was her BD Sky. Its not about knowing y'all bond"
"Mazi you know me and Alam always argued" Sky stale faced Mazi.
"You missing the point tho Sky. You grieving but she is too. She raising a kid on her own, youn say no shit like that"
"Am I not raising Romani by myself?" Sky mugged Mazi, "Yeah but-"
"Stop dick eating. Anything shes going thru, im going thru right now" Sky said making Mazi sigh.
"Tell her come here, I wanna talk to her" Sky got up going to get Romani her chips. Mazi texted Armani the address & to come. Soon, Armani pulled up.
"Wassup Mani" Mazi spoke, "Hey Mazi, aww she got just like Roman" Armani picked up Romani.
"You gon walk in my house and dont speak?" Sky mugged Armani, taking Romani.
"When I came in you wasn't in here. Hey sky" Armani said, "Where Alaina" Sky asked.
"Draco wanted her today. He said he wanna kid now." Armani spoke quietly; Draco has been watching Alaina a lot recently. It keeps his mind off of suicidal thoughts.
"Youn like me or some?" Sky asked Armani making her shake her head, "I understand you grieving but the things you've been saying about Alam is insensitive as fuck." Armani said.
"Alam died almost a year ago Armani. Roman died a couple weeks ago. Who do you think is more hurt?" Sky asked, "And now we're comparing trauma. Ok Sky" Armani brushed her off.
"No ones comparing trauma" Sky mugged her.
"You just said Al died a year ago and Rj died a couple weeks ago as if that matters. We're both hurting, same feeling. This shit is dumb." Armani shook her head.
"Who you calling dumb?" Sky put Romani down, "She didnt call you dumb" Mazi looked at Sky.
"No ones talking to you Mazi. Shes talking to me as if im a child, im grown as fuck." Sky rolled her eyes.
"No one's talking to you like you're a child, im just saying.. us arguing or whatever this is, is pointless. We don't gotta be friends but the least we can do is respect each other as humans." Armani sat up.
"Im sorry, im just going through so much. I feel like im taking it out on everybody. Romani birthday next week and I havent planned anything" Sky put her head in her hands.
"I understand. But we cant stop living because of it. Life goes on, which is the saddest part. But dont shut yourself down about it" Armani got up going to sit beside her.
"Im actually so sorry Armani" Sky faced he, "We shouldn't be beefing, our daughters need each other"
"Exactly" Mazi sat back.
"How'd you cope with Alams death?" Sky asked, "I had just had Alaina so I just kept telling myself hes living thru her." Armani mumbled.
"Im rey go out da eat with Draco and Mari, text me if y'all need some" Mazi said before he left, going to Chillis.
"Hell took you so long?" Mari mugged Mazi as he walked up to the table, "I was at Sky crib." Mazi sat down.
"What she talking bout?" Draco asked, "Nun, her and Armani talked". Mazi said before picking up Alaina.
"Im tryna leave" Draco drunk his fruit punch, "Aint shit here but bad spirits. Rj and Alam fucked up bad even having a kid here."
"If Sky and Mani raise Alaina and Romani here aint shit gon happen but they gon grow up without a male figure in they life." Draco said.
"Stop talking like that" Mazi mumbled making Draco get irritated.
"Bro- oh my fucking g- stop fucking telling me to stop thinking like that. It's the truth Monte yeen dumb. We stay here and we die. From murder, or suicide. Nan one of us strong enough to deal with this shit and you know it." Draco said.
"Suicide?" Mari tilted his head to the side, "Its deeper than what you making it seem?"
"Na im just saying. Its best if we leave" Draco slouched down in his seat. Mazi and Mari stared at him.
"Where you tryna go?" Mazi asked.
"I was looking at houses in North Carolina, my nana moved there" Draco said.
"So what you doing in New York?" Mazi asked, "Nigga you cant hear?She moved there. Ween from there" Draco said.
"My nana been telling me da come down there fa some shit." Draco sat up, "Ion een want my baby da be from here".
"We leave, we running." Mazi said, watching the waitress bring their food, "And with that mindset, we fucked." Draco chuckled, giving Alaina her food.
"Ian ready say we needa leave, but we needa be cautious. Cant move how we normally would, especially now because da feds on our ass"Mari dipped his fry in ketchup.
Draco sighed, "Yall can stay, but ian doing it. I got so much da live for g" .
"I feel where you coming from doe Drac, my shordy been looking at places in Manhattan." Mari said, "Aint Al from Manhattan?" Mazi asked making Draco nod his head.
"Mya ass tryna get a place together here" Mazi stared at his food, losing his appetite.
"We need to-go boxes" Mazi said to the waitress. Leaving her a $20 tip before leaving.
"Yall come da my shit tomorrow"Draco said, "Ight, I love y'all" Mari said.
