Two bodies entwined in an intimate embrace, their figures blending harmoniously amidst a gush of vivid colours. Kissing with deep passion yet tenderness loitering in the backdrop, the rich emotions of love and romantic connection rendering their apathy towards the remaining world. Not merely driven by wants, but the couple was fuelled by the boundless affection for each other. The sight was a homage to devotion and their endearing bond.
Hyunjin withdrew and sighed contentedly. The mess he resulted in as usual, was worth the comfort and satisfaction he achieved by fulfilling his heart's desire.
He wasn't planning to sell this one; it'd complement his grand trove of sentimental and inspiring artworks well.
Placing the brushes back in the cup, he wiped off his paint-stained hands with tissues. He got up, undid the apron strings and taking it off, walked to the kitchen in order to hydrate himself while leaving the painting to dry out with the help of the whistling breezes flowing past the open windows.
The omega returned after washing his hands and perched atop the swivel barstool — an empowering structure that had a great role beneath him during the creation of his many magnificent artworks.
He then faced the colour-occupied canvas and sighed dreamily. His latest pieces of art were a depiction of unconditional love similar to the painting finished moments prior.
The fact that Hyunjin was an affiliate of the romantic and poetic type was futile because the mere part he found himself inclined towards was matchmaking — he loved the nostalgic era of his unpaid volunteering for numerous mateless individuals to mingle until he was severely lectured by an elderly patron on how pretty cupids also deserve a lifelong love and care-giver.
He had full faith in the concept of true love; the abstract world of pink and red hearts was fantastic in his perspective. However, that realm always faded to white till where he stood. The world's borders he hadn't tested to cross, rather, admiring the majestic vista of smitten couples from afar was what he preferred.
Hyunjin was the supreme daredevil one could imagine — the sight of Beomgyu panicking like a ticking bomb and offloading a whole lot of cusses at him when he had singlehandedly rescued a female omega from getting misused by five rock-solid alphas at a deserted parking lot was so comical that he still teased his poor friend, even in front of Beomgyu's mates fearlessly — yet he had never and couldn't ever risk giving his own heart to anyone.
Perhaps he was philophobic.
The omega threw a pointless tantrum absolutely not due to the accusation, but the text he just received from an alpha he was supposed — threatened — to go on a blind date with. He'd instead ditch the meet and spend his precious time at an educational art museum if his favourite dance shoes weren't confiscated by his worst-bestie.
