Just an assortment of things that make me smile about the marauders
- Sirius and James love messing with instruments and seeing who can be the loudest, Remus had to ban them from music shops
- Sirius and James have undiagnosed ADHD and they share every thought they have because they literally cannot help it (as a diagnosed ADHD kid, trust me. Sometimes the thoughts are like sneezes)
So their dorm at night often sounds like this
Sirius: guys, I almost forgot but I had a dream that I was a bottle of ketchup and you were mustard which is weird since you're usually mayo. Why do you think that is?
James: do you ever think the wind is trying to tell us something and we just can't hear it?
Remus: I don't know but I want both of you to stop saying dumb shit and go to sleep
Sirius: moony?
Remus: *groaning* yes, pads?
Sirius: would you love me if I was a worm?
Remus: SLEEP!
- Sirius has a record player and mainly listens to Bowie, that's what he gets from Andromeda
- James grew up in a good home and has no trauma and he tries to lend that to his friends. That's why he's people smart. His parents raised him to be sensible so he knows that sometimes Remus might just need space before he starts throwing punches, or that the Black brothers crave affection so much, a hug will immediately calm them down. Though James will take every opportunity to kiss Regulus so~
- Lily too. James didn't really have siblings but he still knows how to make her feel better after another crappy holiday with Petunia. She's become more accustomed to his dumb jokes so he'll usually make one.
- Sirius and Remus connect on another level because their homes are broken
