AUTHOR POV
As they all reached the farmhouse, the air was filled with excitement and a sense of tranquility. Everyone eagerly grabbed their bags and luggage from the car, eager to settle in for what promised to be a relaxing getaway. Jungkook offered to help Yn with her luggage, as he assisted her.
Once inside, Yn was immediately captivated by the stunning beauty of the natural surroundings. The lush greenery and colorful blooms of the garden captured her attention, causing her to walk slowly as she took in every detail. Jungkook couldn't help but notice her enchantment with the garden but kept quiet, allowing her to soak in the beauty uninterrupted. As they made their way into the farmhouse, they were greeted warmly by the maids, who ushered them into the living room and offered them refreshing glasses of water.
Jungkook's father turned to Yn's father with a warm smile, asking, "How is the house treating you so far?"
Yn's father's eyes twinkled as he looked around the elegantly decorated living room and out towards the expansive garden beyond.
"It's truly magnificent," he replied, his voice filled with genuine admiration.
And as the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the tranquil surroundings, Yn couldn't help but feel grateful for this enchanting retreat into nature's embrace.

After an hour of much-needed rest, Yn emerged from her room and meandered towards the garden, seeking solace in the tranquility of nature. As she strolled along, the gentle rustling of leaves was suddenly accompanied by the sound of a familiar voice. To her surprise, she spotted Jungkook engrossed in conversation on his phone, his expression animated with emotion.
Wanting to respect his privacy, Yn decided against interrupting and opted instead to find a serene spot by the lake. Seated on a weathered bench beside the shimmering waters, Yn closed her eyes, allowing the cool breeze to caress her skin, eliciting a soft smile. Lost in her thoughts, she was startled when she sensed a presence behind her.
Turning swiftly, she found no one there. Before she could ponder further, she felt a peculiar sensation on her shoulder. Upon investigation, she recoiled in horror as she discovered a lizard perched on her, its sticky skin sending shivers down her spine. In a moment of panic, Yn let out a piercing scream, causing the lizard to leap onto her, prompting her to involuntarily jump backward. With a splash, she found herself submerged in the chilly embrace of the lake, her screams muffled by the water.
Hearing the commotion, Jungkook abruptly ended his call and sprinted towards the lake, dread gripping his heart as he beheld Yn struggling in the water. Without a moment's hesitation, Jungkook shed his shirt and leaped into the lake, his strong arms propelling him towards Yn's floundering form. With determined strokes, he reached her just in time, grasping her securely and guiding her towards the safety of the shore.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked with concern as he gently laid her down on the bench.
Yn remained unconscious, her body limp. Soon after, their parents rushed to the scene, alarmed by the commotion.
"What happened? What happened, Jungkook?" his father inquired, his eyes anxiously darting between Yn and his son.
"She accidentally fell into the lake," Jungkook explained, his voice laced with worry.
Yn's mother approached and carefully examined her daughter, relieved to find her responsive. With trembling hands, Jungkook scooped Yn into his arms and carried her to her bedroom. He laid her gently on the bed, his heart pounding in his chest.
"Everyone, please leave," Jungkook's mother interjected. "We need to change her clothes."
As the others quietly exited the room, Jungkook's mother and Yn's mother worked together to remove Yn's drenched garments, replacing them with dry and comfortable ones.

Yn sat at the dinner table, a bewildered look on her face. The events of evening still felt surreal. The lizard, the scream, the fall into the lake, the sudden rush of panic, and then the comforting touch of her mother and Jungkook's mother.
Her father, sat across from her, his gaze fixed on her. ''Are you sure you're alright?'' he asked, his voice laced with concern.
Yn nodded, her voice soft. "I'm fine, Dad. Just a bit shaken."
Yn recounted the incident, her voice still shaky as she described the jolt of fear that had overtaken her when the lizard landed on her shoulder. Her hands had instinctively reached up to brush it away, sending the lizard leaping onto her, and in the panic, she had lost her balance and tumbled into the lake.
Jungkook's mother, patted Yn's hand reassuringly. ''It's alright, dear. You were lucky it wasn't anything worse.''
The conversation shifted, the adults talking in hushed tones about something Yn couldn't quite grasp. A sense of unease settled over her. She glanced at Jungkook, who sat at the other end of the table, his back to her, his face buried in his phone. He hadn't said a word since their arrival.
''Jungkook, honey,'' his mother called out, ''it's dinner time.''
Jungkook grunted, but kept his eyes on his phone. ''I'm not hungry. I'll be in my room.'' He pushed back his chair and rose, his movements abrupt and almost angry. Yn watched as he disappeared up the stairs, leaving a heavy silence in his wake.
The adults exchanged worried glances. Yn's father cleared his throat. ''He's just a bit stressed,'' he said, trying to sound casual. ''Maybe because of some business work.''
*****
It was midnight, and Yn found herself unable to sleep. Restless, she made her way to the terrace, her air pods playing soft music in her ears. As she gazed out at the view before her, she closed her eyes, letting the cool breeze wash over her, calming her troubled soul.
But as she stood there, lost in her thoughts, she suddenly felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist. Startled, she opened her eyes and turned to see Jungkook standing behind her, his head resting on her shoulder, his words slurred from the effects of alcohol.
"Please don't go," he pleaded, his voice filled with desperation.
Yn couldn't understand why Jungkook was telling her not to go while he was drunk. She didn't think much about it and gently guided him to his room. Wrestling with his larger frame, she finally managed to lay him down on the bed and tuck him in with a blanket.
As she gazed at him, she saw a glimpse of a cute, innocent little boy hidden beneath his tough exterior. The warmth of the moment lingered, but reality soon set in as she realized the lateness of the hour. With a fond smile, she quietly slipped out of his room and made her way to her own. However, the encounter left a lasting impression on her heart. She couldn't deny the feelings stirring within her -
she was falling for Jungkook.
