Everyone knows the story of Merlin, it's been around for centuries.
The story of a wizard who befriended a King.
But that's not exactly how it went.
The Wizard was in fact a sorceress. A young woman. And although her relationship with Arthur did start with friendship, in the end it was marriage. They were soulmates.
Meant to be.
It had been written in the stars since the dawn of time. Her destiny was to save him, his fate was to die. But destiny and fate are two different things. One can change, the other one will happen.
When Arthur died it broke Merlyn, it truly did. So for centuries she walked alone. She watched as her Kingdom fell and others raised. She watched as the modern world came to be. But in the end she couldn't handle being without those she loved anymore, so she put an end to her immortal life with the one thing that could kill her.
She wanted to see Arthur again but instead she was told that the world still needed her, so till Arthur raised once more she would spend that time going through out the multi-verse, and help make the future better for everyone.
This gave her a new chance at love, and a wonderful life. It gave her a chance to be happy once again.
But it didn't always end like that.
Torture, having those she loved die in her arms, dying in the arms of others, and so much more trauma.
But in the end she was back in the arms of her first love.
But that's not where this story starts. Right now it starts in a Castle that's used as a school. It starts one Fifth Year morning. It starts when she walks into the Great Hall to find everyone from her past and future standing there, waiting for her. It starts after she wakes up from passing out from getting her memories back.
It starts now.
