**Sound of cooking**Yuv woke up from his sleep to the aroma of breakfast being prepared. He got out of bed and went to the kitchen, where he saw Ambika cooking. She looked up and greeted him with a warm smile. "Good morning, Yuv. Go freshen yourself up," she said gently. Yuv still felt a little strange in someone else's house and stood there awkwardly. Noticing his hesitation, Ambika approached and helped him find his way.
After freshening up, Yuv joined Ambika at the table for breakfast. They ate together in a comfortable silence. Once they finished, Ambika got ready to leave for work. She knelt down to his level and said, "Okay, Yuv, I have to go to work now. Stay here and keep the door locked. If anything comes up, call me through the telephone. I've written my number on the paper beside it, okay?" Yuv nodded softly, grateful for her kindness.
**Scene shift:**"You lost a 6-year-old kid?" Vikas, Yuv's uncle, shouted furiously, throwing a flower vase across the room. The men around him remained silent, clearly afraid. Avantika, Vikas' wife, stood up and walked over to him. "Darling, why do we need that child? Let's just declare him dead. All the property will be ours," she suggested, her voice cold and calculating.
Vikas began to calm down, considering her words. Just then, a servant entered the room. "Sir, the lawyer has arrived," he announced.
"Bring him in," Vikas ordered. The lawyer entered, and Vikas greeted him with a forced smile. "Come in, Mr. Lawyer," he said.
"I'm here to discuss the property and Mr. Vinay's will," the lawyer began.
"Yes, of course," Avantika said, pretending to be sorrowful. "Oh, what a cruel twist of fate. First, we lost my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and now our dear nephew Yuv. Where do we sign to take over the property, now that we are all that's left to cherish their memory?"
The lawyer looked at them sternly. "I'm not here to hand over the property. I'm here to inform you that the child's body hasn't been found at the accident site. Until the child is declared dead with the body found, you cannot claim the property. The company will continue to operate anonymously until the rightful owner is confirmed."
Avantika struggled to keep her face composed. "That's all I came to say," the lawyer concluded. "I'll be on my way now."
"Someone show Mr. Lawyer out," Vikas said, his voice tight with barely concealed rage. As soon as the lawyer left, Vikas' anger erupted again. He ordered his men to find Yuv, dead or alive.
**Scene shift to Ambika's place**"Ambika, wanna come for lunch? We're going down to the cafe," asked Ambika's colleague, Naina.
"Yes, wait a minute, please. Let me finish this, just a minute," Ambika replied, focused on her task.
"Okay," Naina replied, waiting patiently. After a moment, Ambika finished up and joined her."Let's go," Ambika said with a smile as they headed out.
Once they reached the cafe, Naina asked, "What would you like to drink?""Anything is fine," Ambika replied, scanning the menu.
"I'll look for a seat," Naina said, heading toward an empty table. Ambika nodded and placed their orders, then joined Naina at the table.
As they settled in, Naina asked, "So, how have you been? Everything okay?"
Ambika hesitated for a moment, thinking about Yuv back at her apartment. "Yeah, everything's fine," she said, forcing a smile. "Just been a bit busy lately."
Naina nodded understandingly. "I get that. It's been a hectic week. Sometimes it's nice to just take a break and relax for a bit."
Ambika agreed, but her mind kept drifting back to Yuv. She wondered if he was doing alright, if he was safe. She had left her phone number for him, but she still felt uneasy.Their drinks arrived, and they continued chatting, but Ambika's thoughts were never far from the little boy she had taken in. She knew she needed to find a way to help him, to protect him from whatever danger he was running from.
