Chapter 7

Dad turned his head.

"Yeah."

"You look confident for a child."

"Well I did become a Genin at 5."

"5?" I said with shock.

He nodded.
"This is your room."

He took me to his spare room with a single bed, against a wall, underneath a window, it had a bedside table and tallboy on the other side of the room and wardrobe in the wall.

"It's not much but...."

"It's fine." I looked at him with a smile.

"The longer I stay The better things will become."

"Well I'll leave you to settle in."

He headed down the hall towards his room.

I sat on my bed, reached into my small bag, pulled out a picture of mum and I and placed on the bedside table. I started at it for a couple of minutes before unpacking my things on the bedside table and tallboy. Even with all my stuff the draws still looked pretty empty. I headed to the shower, before o entered the bathroom I heard dad talking.

"This isn't a bad thing actually, it's been a long time since I've had someone, I don't know why but, she reminds me of Hanare."

I pressed my head against the door.

"Kakashi, you now need to train the new generation of youth, even your own flesh."

I lifted an eye brow, whoever was speaking had a loud voice over the phone, loud enough for me to hear what they were saying from outside of the room.

"I've realised that Gai, I'm just saying that I'm really happy that she's here, she doesn't seem to be having any visions yet."

Huh, what visions?

"Kakashi, what visions is she meant to have?"

"I've already spoken to you about it, Hanare is from the Kido clan, the members of the clan experience visions of the future from the ages of 16 onwards, Kyuko doesn't seem to be having any, that's if she hasn't taken the bloodline."

My mum is from a clan, she never told me anything! I can't talk to dad about it either, I don't want him to know I was ears dropping. Well they're not talking about anything bad

I made my way to the bathroom. The warm water felt good and....this is probably gonna sound weird but the bathroom is more spacious than my old one. My old apartment was so small it's not funny. I stepped out of the shower, got dressed in a loose white shirt and shorts and began brushing the nots out of my bangs. I stepped out of the bathroom, stopping in the middle of the hallway I stared at dads bedroom door, I was so tempted but hesitated, I wanted to talk to him but I didn't want to disturb him, maybe he wanted to see me, maybe he still needed time to take in the fact that he'd had a daughter for the past 16 years that he didn't know about. I sighed. I threw my dirty clothes onto my bed and nocked on dads door.

"Come in."

I opened the door slowly. He was sitting on his bed, leaning back against a wall his lead against. Wow, he looked so different without any ninja gear on, wearing just his mask/sleeveless shirt and black track pants, he was reading a book, I couldn't read the title in the dim lamplight. I stepped in, closing the door behind me.

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

"No, nothing......I just.....(sigh) I just wanted to talk."

"What about?

I shrugged.

"I just want to get to know you more, and the village.....and hopefully anything about mum that she hasn't told me."

He patted the bedding, I took the gesture and took a seat next to him, facing him.

"Weeelll......starting off" he placed his head back against the wall "you already know my name, my father in the picture that you saw, his name was Sakumo Hatake, (sigh) unfortunately...."

"If you don't want to talk about his death than you don't have to." I said.

"No, it's alright, my father was known as the White Fang of the leaf, people looked up to him, including me."

I smiled.

"During an important mission, something happened to one of his comrades, and he went to save him instead of completing the mission. People looked down on him from doing so, so he isolated himself from the shame, it became so great that he committed suicide when I was only 5."

My eyes widened

"I never knew my mother."

"I'm sorry."

He turned his head and look at me for a minute before putting it back in it's original position.

"After graduating from the academy, I became a Jonin.

"At that age?"

He nodded.

"I was placed on a team with a boy named Obito Uchiha, and a girl named Rin Nohara, our sensei was the Yellow Flash of the Leaf.

"He sounds fast, what did he do to earn that name?"

"He used a teleportation Justsu that the 2nd Hokage used, he was so fast they called him the Yellow Flash, he was a blonde haired man, Minato Namikaze. Obito was a clumsy kid that was always screwing up, he loved Rin. on our last mission together."

He lowered head. Something must have happened.

"It was during the 3rd treat ninja war, we were assigned to blow up a bridge called the Kanabi bridge, Rin got captured, Obito wanted to go after her, I wanted to complete the mission. One of the energy ninja slashes my eye, that how I got this scar, he tried to help me, at the same time the enemy tried to attack but Obito's sharingan awakened and he killed the man. As we went to save Rin, the cave that we were in collapsed, I rock hit my head and Obito pushes me out of the way as a rock collapsed but, sadly the rock fell on half of Obito's body, he wanted Rin to put his sharingan in my left eye"
"So that how you got your name and sharingan"
He nodded
"About a year or 2 after Obito's death, the Hidden Mist captured Rin and sealed the 1 tales in her, also putting a seal ion to which should let the beast loose once she was on the village, I went to save her and on the way back she told me about the seal and wanted me to kill her to protect the village, we were encountered by Hidden Mist shinobi, we fort. I activated my chidori, Ron ran I front of it causing me to pierce her heart"
He lifted his right hand and gazed at it before putting it down. Guessing that's that hand that pierced her heart.
"After that, Minato sensei was the only person I had left, he later became the Fourth Hokage. He assigned me to the ANBU. Later his wife became pregnant, I was assigned to watch over her in secret since she was a jinchuriki, on the night of his child's birth the Nine Tais came upon the village, trying the destroy it, I don't know the full story, but Minato sensei and his wife were killed that nigh, leaving behind their child. I won't tell you who that child is because Sensei made enemies during the 3rd great ninja war. If word got out he has a child, his enemies would come after his child"
I nodded
"Well, I love ramen, but I don't eat it for 3 meals a day, and......well,...actually there's not really much I know about myself. I guess we'll figure it out after time" I said
We both chuckled
"Now thinking about, the last time I encountered your mother was about 2 and a half years ago"
"What?"
"She was brought to the village for spying and trying to gather Intel about us"
"Wow, she never told me about that"
He grunted
"Well we better get to bed" he said
I nodded and headed out of the room.
"Oh, would you be able to tell me more about the village tomorrow?" I asked
"I don't have any missions so I guess I could"
"Thankyou, good night"
"Night"
I closed the door and headed to my room. I layed in bed thinking. Who could be lord Fourths child? Have I met him? Do I know the child's name?
My mind became flooded with questions. I wonder if the village has a birth certificate or something. I don't want to go snooping any where, but, (sigh) I better rest my mind. And with that I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
