The next day, after breakfast, the team discovered that they needed a different microchip for one of the equipment they needed for the heist.

"I have the exact microchip we need at home. I can go pick it up." Charlotte said.

Lou stood up way too fast at that and offered, "I'll come with you. We need to buy more groceries anyway."

Charlotte smiled knowingly, "Sounds good. Want to have a race on our bikes?"

"You're on. But you're going down." Lou replied with a challenge in her eyes.

Charlotte scoffed, "We'll see about that."

They went outside, ready to race, but found Lou's bike with a completely flat tire.

Lou stood in shock, "What the hell happened to my tire?" When she turned around, she saw two heads sticking in the window looking at her in horror. She made her way back into the loft.

Constance was sitting there with guilty grimace on her face "Uh, sorry about that. Nineball and I were playing airsoft and I accidentally shot it."

Lou was annoyed, she just got her bike all tuned up "Constance! You can't just go around shooting people's tires!"

"I said I was sorry!" Constance quickly skated out of the crime scene.

Shaking her head in disbelief, Lou sat down, her head in her hand, mumbling "Those kids".

Charlotte found this situation quite amusing "Don't worry Lou, you can be my passenger princess." she said with a huge grin on her face.

Lou scoffed, she didn't know if she should kill Constance or thank her. Well, she could not say she minded having to ride on the back of Charlotte's bike. She was actually pretty thrilled at the prospect of getting to hold onto Charlotte as they rode. "Ugh, fine. But only because I don't have a choice."

Charlotte smirked, "Just make sure you hold on tight," she said, winking at her.

Lou rolled her eyes, pretending to be annoyed by Charlotte's flirty remark. But as soon as she sat behind Charlotte on the bike, she couldn't help but smile.

"Don't worry, Lou. You can drive on the way back to the loft." Charlotte said as she turned on the bike.

Lou was ecstatic "Really? I've always wanted to ride on that kind of bike."

Charlotte smiled, "Then it's settled. Let's go get that microchip and buy some groceries."

So, Charlotte and Lou set off on their mission, with Lou riding on the back of Charlotte's bike. They rode through the city, taking in the sights and sounds as they made their way to Charlotte's house.

When they arrived at Charlotte's house, Lou was surprised by how huge and expensive it looked.

"Damn," Lou said, looking around in awe. "You said you do alright with your company but it looks like you do more than alright."

Charlotte just laughed it off.

"I guess you could say that," she said with a shrug.

Lou shook her head in amazement, "So you're really just doing this to help out Nineball?" she said. "You must be really close for you to stick yourself in literal crime just to help her."

Charlotte nodded, "That's how Nineball and I have always been," she said. "We always help each other out and look out for one another. We've been through some shit together. And even though crime isn't really my scene and could put me in a lot of trouble also with my company, I would never hesitate to help her."
