WHO FELL FIRST?
She fell for him, he fell for... two parts of her.BOYS, YOU'RE SAFE: the competition is over. Hawkins Dietrich is officially TAKEN.
Addie was sitting at the table, eating breakfast, while she scrolled through the numerous articles on her official relationship with Hawk. She must have missed the part where either of them actually confirmed it.
She knew it had been Arden's comment to have started it all. He's only got eyes for you, he had said. That did sound a lot like a confirmation of the rumored relationship.
It had only been a few months since she'd been in the band, yet the public didn't seem surprised to hear gossip about inside dating between her and one of her bandmates already. At least they'd moved on from assuming she was dating all of them.
While reading yet another article, Hawk walked in, his face tired from sleeping, wearing some sweatpants and a hoodie. It was hot as hell outside, but Arden blasted the AC into the villa, which turned into the North Pole.
"Morning," he mumbled, his voice gruff and the word no more than a formality.
"Hi," she greeted back, sounding a little less like she'd just crawled out of the afterlife. "Have you been online yet?"
Getting the coffee machine started, he sighed and rubbed his face with a hand. "What did they say now?"
Addie stood up and handed him her phone. "World's Sexiest Man 2019, huh? I didn't know that." She eyed him up and down. "What happened since then?" she teased, earning a dark glare to which she replied with a chuckle.
"So, it's official?" he asked, giving her the phone back.
"So it seems. Crazy that they knew before we did, huh?"
"Yeah, 'cause they've done all the work."
"So... what now?"
Hawk leaned with his back against the kitchen counter and crossed his arms. He shrugged. "What?"
She copied his stance only against the table in front of the counter. "Where do we go from here? How do we act like a couple?"
"How the hell would I know?"
"Well, what did you do in your previous relationships?"
He blinked. "Sex."
She rolled her eyes. "Okay, assuming the paparazzi won't take pictures of us doing that, I think we can skip that part. What else?"
"I don't do relationships. Too complicated as a celebrity."
"A fling, then? You must have had someone you liked being around as well as being inside of," she insisted, sitting on the table.
