Y/n, She is a normal girl in 3rd grade of highschool and 19 year old girl and an introvet with no so many friends living a hectic life, deeply passionate about reading and writing novels, though she has never written one. Despite her genius for storytelling, she leads the life of a poor girl, she wasn't poor from start, she used to have her father who was everything to her her mother left her when she ten, after some time her father remarried to a woman with daughter same as her age everything was good but after her father passed away when she was 16, her stepmother, who once seemed kind, revealed her true nature. her stepmother denying her a share of her late father's property and money which she have already spend all. Now, she endures a miserable existence in that household. Y/n, Juggling countless part-time jobs and excelling as a student, she meets the demands of her stepmother.
Her stepsister named jieun, with whom y/n has a strained relationship, and Her stepmother doesn't work, spending her days gossiping around the colony also with unknown guys. Even when she does something, it's managing the clothing workshop her father built which is now in downfall. Her stepsister is spoiled and irresponsible, leaving all the hard work to her. Whenever she tries to speak up, she is silenced with a harsh slap. Though she has no place to go and is afraid that house which used to be her is now sold out because her stepmom wanted money she have nowhere to go even through she can but is afraid by her fate by her lives, she endures the abuse. Adding to her troubles, there is a bully at her school whom we will encounter soon in the story.
