"shall we start of with a classic and do Mr Brightside?" Astoria says while putting it on the screen.

"yesss we should" i say to her and stand up next to Pansy.

"okay okay come on let's start" Pansy says.
"shush I've got it" Astoria says playing Mr Brightside.

We all start to sing together and sometimes having our own parts. We end up doing more songs than we should have.

I sit back down on Astorias bed and reach for my phone checking the time. 11:23, whoops.

"Vik, what time is it?" Pansy says turning around to me.
"11:23" I reply to her and seeing her face shocked at how long we've been doing this.

"oh shit, whoops, how loud do you think we were" Astoria says turning off the music.

"umm loud?" I say, sure we were being loud but has anyone cared enough to complain? no, so it's not an issue.

"oh well, anyways I'm going to my room, night guys love you" Pansy says while turning to the door and leaving to go to her own room.

"love you to, I'm going to go aswell love you Tori" I first say to Pansy and then turn to Astoria and walk out of her dorm.

While shutting her door and turning to go down the hall I accidentally bump into someone.

"shit sorry" I say quickly, it's late and I didn't expect anyone to be awake. I look up to see Cole smiling at me.

"its okay, don't worry about it" He says, he's more gorgeous close up and his eyes. wow.

"you okay?" Cole tilts his head and snaps me out of my thoughts.
"yeah sorry, I didn't expect to see anyone out" I say giving him a small smile back.

"yeah I'm just going back to my room, where are you headed?" He gestures down the hall to show where his room is. Past Astoria's skip one and he's there. Astorias one lucky girl. 

"oh I'm just going back to mine aswell, i just left my friends" I say looking back at Astorias room.

"alright, I'll see you around" he says to me while walking away and smiling.
"bye, see you around" I say back to him and start to walk off in the other direction.

I head to my room and lock the door behind me. It's already late so I quickly take off my makeup and get changed before going to sleep.

I wake up to a knock at my door, I get up and answer it and see Pansy standing there.

"come on hurry up or were going to be late" she says looking me up and down realising the at I have only just woke up.

"okay uhh I'll be down in a sec" I say while shutting the door and getting my uniform on. I don't really have time but I do my makeup anyway and sort my hair out.

I leave my dorm room and head downstairs to meet Pansy and Astoria, luckily we weren't as late as we thought we would be.

We all head to the great hall and sit with the boys, dumbledore doesn't have an announcement so breakfast starts straight away.

"I'm so excited for tonight" Pansy says squealing.
"me too, can't wait to drink" I say smirking.
"of course you are" Tori says rolling her eyes playfully.

"alright as if you aren't" I say hitting her lightly.
"okay yeah fair" she says tilting her head slightly and laughing.

My favourite part of drinking is not being in the world. Well maybe that's bad but then again I don't have to think about anything. I don't have to acknowledge all the shit that brings me down when I'm alone.

I don't have to acknowledge all the messages I get from my dad. I don't have to reply. But then again that's what he does. He drinks to not deal with his problems. He drinks to not think about mum.

I guess I do the same. Like father like daughter, I don't want to be a copy. I don't want to end up like him. I don't want to do what he does to me.

My thoughts had taken over that I didn't even realise everyone around me was talking and breakfast was over.

I look at everyone seeing if anyone noticed I wasn't really paying attention. But then I meet Mattheo's eyes.

We lock eyes neither of us looking away. Why was he looking at me? Did he notice? Not like he would care anyway he's hated me for years. Why would he care about my problems in life?

We both end up looking away at the same time as we start to get up and leave the great hall. Most of us split up as we have separate classes.

Me, Theo and Mattheo all start heading towards charms. We all take out seats and thank fuck Theo is in the middle of us.

Professor Flitwick starts talking about the levitation charm and how we can use it.

"the levitation charm allows you to move and levitate objects" Flitwick mentions as if that already wasn't self explanatory as we've already learnt about this charm.

"do you think I could levitate you into a different world" Mattheo says giving me a look.

"haha hilarious" I say sarcastically.
"and also that doesn't even make sense you dipshit" I say to him giving the same energy.

He rolls his eyes at me.
"whatever" he mumbles and looks back at how to do the charm. I swear it's the same joke every time but I may as-well play along with his games.

The class finishes and I meet the Pansy and Astoria in the hallway as we have our next class together. We start to head over to herbology. One of our least favourite lessons.

"guys how pissed do you think you'll get tonight?" Astoria says while we walking into the classroom.

"well, it is a welcome back kind of party, so I mean maybe very pissed?" Pansy says. I can definitely agree with her. I mean we have the opportunity to drink so why not take it?

"yeah I agree with Pans I'll probably get pissed" I say to both of them.

Our conversation gets cut off by professor sprout and she begins to teach her lesson.
