Chapter 1

Life is an odd thing. One moment you're happy the next you're sad.
Isn't it funny how things work. Your parents have the last say. While you're still a liability for them. Here I was in a new town having to attend a new school.

I'll be the new kid. Again. This is a routine for them, moving every year. Never having stability. But I can't really do anything about it.
Never really tried to make friends or get attached, Because you know it won't last.

Well here I am In front of my new school. Counter Side High. The school for the prestigious. Filled with the rich , that think they are better than you. Because their parents are wealthy. My parents are not millionaires , but they made sure I could get what I wanted. And that I'm thankful for . They are trying to give me the best since this is my final year in high school. And I'll try to make the most of it.

As I entered the gates to the building of my school. I couldn't help but feel people were looking at me. This is not really my scene. I could feel my anxiety throughout my body. Don't get me wrong I don't really care what people think of me, and I know my good looks help me in a way. But it also gives me judgement, cause people think I'm up tight.

Reception

- hey ma'am I'm the new student. Nea Anthony.

-oh we were expecting you. This will be your schedule for the classes you will attend. And we'll get someone to give you a tour of the school grounds, so you are aware of where everything is located .

-Alright thank you.

-Anna can you please give Nea a tour of the school grounds

- Alright come on (The girl anna said)

Anna: Don't be so nervous I know it's not always great being the new kid.

- yea I'm used to it but probably will never get over the feeling of being the kid.

Anna: well, you're already a topic, if that makes any difference.
Everyone is talking about the girl being so pretty.

- oh... That doesn't really make me feel great but I'm glad people think I'm pretty..

Anna: GIRL let me give you some advice. This school is filled with drama. And there are certain people that run it. The popular squad btw... So my advice is try and stay out of it.

- well I'm definitely not the type for drama and the spotlight anyway.

I'm definitely staying away from popular kids. They just straight up bullies if you ask me.

Anna: well I know it's not great to be all alone so you could join me and my friend for lunch if you'd like.

- thank you Anna I'd love that.

All my classes were really boring. People tried to talk to me and others gave me filthy looks I definitely found out who the mean girls are. And the jocks. So far it couldn't be any worse

Lunch break.

On my way to meet Anna for lunch. Someone bumped into me making me fall to the ground. How embarrassing!!! . The person reached out a hand to help me up. As I looked up..

I was shocked to see the most beautiful boy ever, He was tall and built like a Greek God. Covered in tattoos. And don't get me started on that face. That FACE!! The most beautiful emerald eyes
That looks at you with intensity. Clenched jawline. The perfect nose, his hair looking so soft and shiny. I just want to run my fingers through it,

Who is THiS!!!
Oh he smells so good.

- Are u okay? ( His voice could bring me to my knees)

Falling back into reality. I stood up and fixed my posture. Meeting his gaze.

- I'm fine, but next time please watch were your going. You walking like you own this place. Not caring who you hurt.

He just stared at me not saying a word. And I could help but feel nervous.

- So you're the new girl right? ( He said nonchalantly)

- yes I am.

- well you really have some guts taking to me like that. Do you even know who I AM?

Who does this jerk think he is!!

- NO, And quite frankly I don't really care.

I said and walked away, feeling a pair of eyes burning the back of my head.

Little did I know this day would change my life forever.
