1. ~Moving to Beacon Hills

Sarah was in her room, or now old room, packing her things. She's been living at her dad's house ever since her parents divorced and was now moving back to Beacon Hills to live with her mom, Melissa, and her brother, Scott. It was her decision to move in with her mom as she didn't get along with her dad, Rafael, at all. He often got home drunk or didn't ever show her that he loved her or anything. So she decided to live with her mom and Scott from now on and then move out once she finished high school. She heard the door to her room open as she finished packing.
"Your taxi is here." Her dad, Rafael, says to her as he stands in the doorframe.
"Awesome, just on time." Sarah says and grabs her suitcase and backpack with her things and looks at her dad. She originally wanted him to drive her so that they would talk a bit before she moved out, but he refused because of work.
Rafael grabbed her suitcase and helped her carry her things downstairs and walked outside with her, and put her things in the back of the taxi.
"Thanks." Sarah says and looks at her dad, expecting him to pull her into a hug as a goodbye, but he only put his hand on her shoulder.
"Have fun in Beacon Hills, kiddo. Love you." *Rafael says and pulls his hand away and walks past her as if he didn't care that she was leaving and will probably not see him for months.
Sarah decided not to say anything about it as it was pointless to argue with her dad.
"Love you too, dad." She says and walks over to the car door of the taxi.
"Bye, kiddo." Rafael says simply as if what was happening was something that would happen every day or as if he was expecting her to come back in a few days anyway.
"Bye, dad." She says and gets into the car, and the taxi drove away.
Sarah grabbed her phone and some headphones and decided to listen to some music as this drive was going to take 5 hours.

5 hours later:
It was already 6 pm when she arrived at her mom's house. She paid the taxi driver and got out of taxi and took her things and then walked to the front door of the house and knocked on it.
Scott opened the door and looked at her surprised as if he had already forgotten that she was coming.
Scott then immediately smiled and pulled her into a tight hug. Sarah immediately hugged him back happily. Despite being siblings, they didn't see each other often 'til now, but they were always close. Sarah and Scott always called each other almost daily and told each other everything... or so, she thought.
After a few minutes, Scott pulled away from the hug and helped her carry her things upstairs into her room.
"Mom is at work right now. There was some kind of emergency, and she had to rush over to the hospital." Scott explained as he helped her get her things into her new room.
"Oh, okay. Well, at least you're home." Sarah says with a smile.
"Oh, this room definitely needs some decorating." She says as she sees her room, and Scott laughs.
"Well, this was originally the guest room, and we didn't know how you would like to have it, so we left it like this." Scott says with a smile.
"Well, I love decorating, so don't worry. I will have a lot of fun." She says and laughs.
"By the way, would you mind if some of my friends come over later?" Scott asks her.
"No, of course not, don't worry. Are you still friends with Stiles?" Sarah asks with a smile. Sarah, Scott, and Stiles always hung out together whenever Sarah came to Beacon Hills to visit them.
"Yeah, we're still best friends." Scott says with a slight smile, but she could tell something was off when she mentioned Stiles' name, but she decided not to say anything yet.
"My friends will be here in a few minutes. We will be downstairs, okay?" Scott asks.
"Okay, perfect. I'll unpack my things for now." Sarah says with a smile.
2 hours later:
Sarah finished packing her things, so she came downstairs and saw Scott with his friends in the living room. She greeted them and was about to go to the kitchen to get something to eat, but Scott stopped her.
"Wait, I should probably introduce you all." Scott says and got up.
"So guys, this is Sarah, my sister." He introduces her. For her, this was kind of awkward as all of them besides Stiles and Lydia were strangers to her.
"You know Stiles and Lydia." Scott begins and gestures to a tall, muscular dark blonde guy and introduces him as Isaac, then gestures to a black-haired girl and introduced as Allison. Sarah and Scott talked about Allison before, so she knew that Allison was Scott's ex. Scott introduces another black-haired Asian girl as Kira. Sarah smiled at them but then noticed that Stiles looked pretty pale and had dark circles under his eyes. He didn't look healthy at all, she thought. She excused herself and then walked into the kitchen to eat something.
