The trio sat at the table in shock both children sharing a weary glance with one another before giving Sophie pointed looks, small eyes squinted as markl asked "your not working with the witch of the wastes are you ?"Sophie was shocked before her face contorted in to absolute untapped rage as she loudly bellowed "I would never work for that witch! She's the one who-" but as she tried to continue her sentence her teeth glued together.
No noise coming out her other then grunts and grumbles as she desperately tried to speak. But nothing came out as her lips sealed on their own. She got fed up. Her now pale and aged face red hot with vexation as she raised both arms high into the air and brought them crashing down on to the table with a loud PANG! both children grunting urgently moving their plates of the table before they could topple to the floor along with their food, as Sophie vowed "if I ever get my hands on that witch I'm gonna wrong her fat neck!" She huffed and puffed before scolding the two with a jerk of her head "finish you breakfast!"

As Sophie continued with her urgent cleaning rampage, mumbling and grumbling to herself as she went she failed to realize that on her rapid swearing escapades she was leaving Calcifer un attended as he blubbered and whimpered out as he became smaller and smaller "Sophie please ! I'm going out !" His small voice called out desperately as she grabbed his little chunk of log he was clinging on to and placed it over a cup "hey ! What are you doing !!" He whimpered as his small and tubby form hanged from his charred log pice "you'll be fine, im just sweeping out the ashes" as she dismissed not even staring at him as he continued snivel out "pleas im going out!" As she just hummed as she continued to clean.
Just then (name) came in and after helping markl set up the junk they were cleaning outside and gaped in shock, she saw her little fire demon friend struggling as she rushed over in worry and as she whined out with worry "Howl!" And as if made of thin air, Howl appeared behind the small girl and caressed the top of her head in reassurance as he grabbed a hold of Calcifier and held him in his palm and gave him some more fire wood as Sophie came back into the room.
As the small girl glared angrily at the older woman and hugged out "you big meanie! You almost!-" but before she could tell her off Howl brought his hand up to small her lips before she would say something rude. Her voice muffled against his palm she angrily grunted and stamped her feet. Howl simply smiled as he scolded lightly "I would appreciate it if you pleas didn't torment my friends" he tutted with his signature smile. Saying nothing more as he pinched at (names) cheek lightly in teasing yet scolding manner as he stared her down with a wider smile. As she huffed and turned away with a angry huff.
Satisfied Howl turned to the door and switched the the door to the black section "Master Howl, are you going out now ?"!Markl he asked out from over his small shoulder as Howl called out almost jeeringly and opened the door "Markl make sure the cleaning lady doesn't get carried away while I'm gone"
