The next day, we sat down at the table to try and get things settled out. Ellona sat on my lap, playing my Steam Deck. Lillie in the chair on my right, Meera on my left. Nick and Ariana were at the other side of the table, with Hau sitting on his left, next to Lillie.
The first question that was asked was by Hau. "So tell me, what's happened since Giratina fell." He looked at Ellona on my lap. "Clearly there's so much to explain."
Nick started to explain Harran, and how we learned about the Khaos Brigade through Dimonte Black. Then I explained the Aether War, with The Aether Foundation, with the traitor that got Hau killed, Sabastian.
I told him about the fall of Harran, and the Birth of Ghostopolis. Then the cruise that happened in July.
"Now what about the three women around you? I know about Lillie, but Meera I didn't know about. And Ellona I feel like we've met before..."
Ellona looked up and got nervous. "Maybe, I don't know. How long have you been dead?"
"Technically, 10 years." He then explained how Nick brought him back to life and gave him immortality, but he was in a death coma until a week ago.
Nick agreed, which proved his point. "I had needed him to come back, he's gonna help The House of Gold as our new head of the Phantom Patriots." Nick then stood. "All the pieces we need are now on the board. When the time comes when we finally stand up to the Khaos Brigade, everybody needs to know their roles. " He then started pointing at everyone individually, starting with me. "Ben, at the same time that everyone relies on your Dragon's power, you need to as well. So you'll be the pawn in this battle, meaning that your power can be used in any way you and the team need." He then moved on to Lillie. "Lillie is one of the Bishops, or the medic of our team. Consider her physical strength is weaker than her magic. It's perfect. The other is Sadie, but she isn't here." Nick's eyes drifted towards Meera, then Ellona. "Meera and Ellona," He paused, taking a look at each of them. Ellona put my Steam Deck down. Nick continued, "you two are gonna be the Rooks of The House of Gold. You guys have amazing attack and defense, but mobility wise..." We heard a knock on the door. We all looked over.
I stood up and walked towards the door. I opened it and a 3 man team of Phantom Patriots were standing outside my door.
Nick smiled. "Just in time, Leo." He then walked up beside me and led him inside. "Leo and Hau, you guys are my knights, considering your speed and attack are incredible, but your defenses are weaker."
We heard Ruby's door open. "Who's here?" Then she saw everyone, "Dad why didn't you wake me?"
"I forgot." I shrugged.
She walked up and stood in between me and her mom.
Nick spread his arms, "We officially have the first meeting of The Gold Operators!"
Leo scowled but he agreed, "Didn't have to make it so dramatic."
The other two Patriots stood behind Nick and Leo. They said nothing. Leo turned back to them, they gave him a thumbs up. "Permission to speak?" He asked Nick.
Nick gave him permission.
Leo sighed. "Cole's gone missing. The mission we were sent out to Alaska, we encountered Shadow Company and the Khaos Brigade. We just got back an hour ago. I need to get my brother back." He clenched his fists.
I stood up. "Then I don't care what you say Nick, I'll go there myself. Kill that betraying bastard Graves and save my friend."
"Then you'll leave within the week. I'll let you know." Nick definitely was having a heart attack, he thought of Leo and Cole of the sons he never had. "Ben, Ellona, Leo are going to be part of the first official mission of The Gold Operators. Operation Snowbank!"
Silence filled the room.
Ariana looked at him, "You're so dramatic. Listen I'll pick y'all up at The Patriot Base at 0300 tomorrow morning, y'all should go to bed soon."
"I'll cook dinner!" Lillie offered. She then looked at me. I didn't know what I was feeling right now, I wasn't gonna be home for god knows how long.
"I'll help!" Meera shot up and ran to the kitchen with Lillie. Ariana followed as well.
Leo sat down on my left where Meera was. He looked depressed. "I hope he's still living."
"Trust me if he's dead, not even the Khaos Brigade can stop my anger." I tried to reassure him.
"Yeah well, he's my brother. They're will be no mercy, or god for them to pray to." He smirked. The rest of the night was us bullshiting about the next Call of Duty game, then dinner came and we ate. Then we all dispersed from the table, Nick, Ariana, and the other patriots left after dinner. Leo wanted to stay in the guest room overnight, so that we could just hop in his JLTV Customized to fit his Unit, REAL. I lay in my bed at 9:30ish. I couldn't fall asleep, I had too much on my mind. Meera was on my left sleeping. Her back was turned to me. Ellona was sleeping on my stomach, with her body in between my legs. I couldn't tell if Lillie was asleep or not but she had her head on my shoulder, and her arms wrapped around my chest.
"Hey you up?" She whispered, which answered my question.
"Yeah, can't sleep." I had my eyes closed.
"Me too, I dunno how I'm gonna sleep when you're not here." She hugged me tighter.
I put my hand on her side. She sighed heavily. "Well, is it worrying that's going to bother you? Or are you not gonna be able to sleep?"
She shifted around and sat up, the moonlight through the window illuminating her perfect and very curvy body. She looked at me and smiled softly, "Why am I not allowed to worry or be comfortable." Her smile then faded. I saw a look of concern and sadness in her eyes. She stared out the window, so I was kind of an asshole. I peered into her mind and read her thoughts.
It took a moment but then I heard Lillie in my head. I'm worried. This mission...doesn't seem right. Then I'm not gonna have my man and I barely have him to begin with. Her head lowered. I sat up.
Ellona yawned, "Hey is it time to go?" She looked and saw Lillie. She saw something on her, and Ellona gasped. "Never mind, I'm going back to bed." She quickly hid under the blanket.
Lillie continued. I love him. I love him. I love him. I'm so jealous of Meera and especially Ellona. I hope he just doesn't forget about me completely. I hope he doesn't stop his love for me.
"And it won't." I yelled.
It startled her. She gasped. She didn't say anything. Meera jumped and rolled over. Ellona peaked out from under the blanket.
"I love you Lillie, and I don't think I could ever stop. You have this effect on me that no one else will ever replace, no matter how sexy or good to me they are." I pointed at Meera and Ellona, who were both now fully awake. "They even know you're my number one."
"Yeah," Meera lifted her head off her pillow. "We know you come before us, at any point. You're the favorite."
"She's got a point." Ellona took Lillie's hand. "I know you're worried too, but he won't be hurt! I'll make damn sure of it. Even if I have to sacrifice myself. I'll make sure he'll make it home to you."
"That won't happen right."
Ellona ignored me and progressed. "We don't just love him, we love you too Lillie."
"Yeah considering you're my best friend at this point, I've grown quite fond of you, Lillie." Meera added.
Lillie tilted her head up, looked at the ceilings and tear streams fell down her eyes, as if her love world had been opened up into a love galaxy.
I picked up her hand from Ellona. "I love you."
Then she fell into my arms, crying and shaking.
I chuckled softly. Meera came around from my left, and Ellona from below.
She poked one of Lillie's breasts. "Boobs."
"Hey!" Lillie smacked her hand. She then pulled off me and protected her chest.
"C'mon lemme squeeze 'em, yeh?" Ellona sat up.
Meera agreed, "They are the biggest of the three."
Lillie was blushing really hard. "Stop, please!"
Meera and Ellona started giggling uncontrollably.
I smirked. I had the best three wives anyone could ask for.
Then they pushed me back into the bed. "Woah, Girls?" They all lay down in their respective spots and we went to sleep.I think that's where we're gonna end it for now.
Jeez, looking back through it now, there was a lot of unnecessary description. Eh, it's not meant to be PG though.
There's a lot of stuff to be uncovered soon, so stay sharp, I've got a lot on my plate right now. Ranging from women to military operations. I just hope everything ends well for us.
I guess this is goodbye from The Dragon Pillar, you know how to reach us if anything happens.
Peace Out!
