that night the three boys invited niki's girlfriend to come to the bar with them. she reluctantly agreed mostly because she had to watch the little kid that niki has inside of him. yeonji knew he would be crazy. "i'll drive." jake volunteered with sunghoon claiming the passenger seat.
"i wanna be your passenger princess." sunghoon joked as jake rolled his eyes.
"ew." he replied to his best friend while starting the engine. the drive went smoothly with the five laughing and talking nonstop.
as soon as the small group entered they acknowledged the large crowd in front of them. "let's go bitches." heeseung said. they walked towards the bartender and took a seat next to a group of three handsome boys.
niki sat a seat away from one of them who had charming fox-like eyes. yeonji looked around, in shock to see none other than her ex, kim sunoo sitting next to her current boyfriend. "what?" niki asked her.
"oh, nothing baby." yeonji let out, slightly embarrassed by the fact that he saw her staring. niki looked towards what caught her attention, a cute male with pink plump lips and fluffy dark brown hair.
"yeonji, isn't that your ex?" jake asked pointing towards the person next to niki, who paid no attention to her.
"yep, kim sunoo." she replied with an unreadable expression. that caught niki's attention. damn, he thought he was fine.
"that's your ex?" niki asked, shocked by the coincidence. he thought if she dated sunoo, he picked a girl that had good taste.
sunoo looked towards where he felt a stare. "yeonji?" he leaned over the table to talk to her. niki was in the middle of the two.
"hey, sun. it's been a while." she answered sweetly, rather than awkwardly. the conversation deepened as they caught up with each other.
"who's this?" sunoo asked pointing towards niki who was drinking nonstop.
