the beach"IS THIS IT?" WHISPERED USAGI, as we peeked over the wall to the large building. I turned to Arisu, who was using the binoculars to get a closer look.
I raised my eyebrows, watching his expression to see any faults. "Well? Is this the beach?" He swallowed, and then I noticed a small smile making its way onto his face.
"The beach." He spoke. Relief washed through me, and I shared a large grin with Usagi. I turned to high-five Arisu when my heart stopped.
Before I could say a word about the gun behind Arisu's head, I was engulfed in darkness and found myself struggling against someone.
In a few seconds, I became extremely lightheaded and slowly drifted unconscious.

____When my eyes opened and I gained my senses, I realised my head was being covered with something— a bag, I assume. Thankfully, this was part of my training to become a detective.
I steadied my breathing, hoping to collect myself and not panic. I slowly moved my hands side to side but the movement was restricted, making me realise my hands had been tied up. I did the same with my legs and feet, and once I found that both my legs and hands had been tied to the chair, I let out a sigh.
I jumped when a loud noise was heard, and footsteps walked into the room I was in. Quickly, I made sure to keep my head to the side, as if I was still knocked out.
I managed to count at least 11 people to walk in from their steps through the door and around the room. There were multiple voices coming from all directions, both sounded like women and men. That makes me feel a little better.
A group of men were stood near where I was tied up, and from the sound of their voices they didn't seem too bothered that I was here. That, or they somehow hadn't noticed me yet.
"2 more girls for us, eh?" I made out from one of the men. My face contorted into one of disgust— even in a world like this, men are still somehow extremely horny. This also proves that they can see me, but just don't care.
This world really shows peoples true nature.
"Don't be greedy, Niragi. You already have plenty falling at your feet." A low voice grumbled, and I detected not a single ounce of care in their voice. Although, their voice sounded really familiar. A bit too familiar for my liking.
His words also gave me some info— the guy who made the weird comment is called Niragi. He seems like a weirdo, but the guy's comment made me wonder how many people were here.
If he has plenty of girls falling for him then there must be more people here, but how many?
Wait. Niragi said two girls? Usagi must be here! I sighed in relief, completely forgetting about the familiar voice I heard.
"Is he a kid, or just a really lanky man?" Another man spoke, laughter quickly following after. It took a few seconds for what he said to click in my mind.
He. Man. There must be another boy in the room, presumably tied up, and unless they have multiple men tied up, that man could be Arisu!
So we're all together...that's good, right?
Two girl voices and another man's caught my attention. They came from my left side, and seemed quite unbothered with the whole situation.
"Think they'd be a good asset?" The woman sounded young, probably around my age.
