We're finally at school so I start to walk inside to my locker. But at the bus stop, Eve was staring at me for some reason. Does my outfit not look good? I couldn't read her expression so I don't know if it was negative or positive. I could tell she didn't have time to brush her hair, it was all fluffy. I like it when it's like that. I was so caught up in my thoughts, that I didn't even see the boy in front of me, he was wearing a Letterman jacket, I finally looked up at his face to apologize and I see that it's the quarterback for our school team. "I'm sorry- I didn't see where I was going" I managed to get out, a bit embarrassed since this is the first time I'm meeting him. "It's alright. No harm done. Just watch out next time, okay? " he said with a sweet smile. He seemed so nice and genuine, I couldn't help but smile softly. "Mhm.. Sure" I said before he walked away to where he was going and I got to go to my locker. I hope I didn't embarrass myself too much. He did seem really nice. Once I got to class, I sat in my seat that was in front of Eve and beside of the boy I bumped into today. After class, I asked him if he wanted to sit next to me and my friends at lunch. I don't know why I did it, I guess cause if I told my friends I bumped into and sat next to the most popular boy in school, they would have said I should have invited him to sit with them so that's what I'm doing to save myself from that convention later. He smiled and said "yeah sure, I dont have anywhere else to be so show me the way" he said nicely and I smiled before showing him the way, we all sat down and my friends talked to him the whole time, leaving me to just listen and eat silently, which is a good thing for me because I don't have to try and match everyones personality like a mirror. I hear them talking to him and I find out his name finally, I'll probably forget it though, I've never been good with names. His name is Evan, good to know.
