Abhira stood up and forwarded her hand to him. Armaan looked at her and she blinked her eyes with a soft smile playing on her face.

Mere sath chalo.

Abhira said, her voice a soft whisper. Armaan looked at her and placed his hand in hers and stood up. She walked forward and he followed blindly trusting her. The delicate sound of their footsteps echoed. Abhira stopped in front of the glass door of the balcony. Armaan watched as the rain poured down from the sky, the sound a soothing melody to their ears. Armaan allowed himself a gentle smile watching the rain, he leaned forward, pressing his cheek against the glass door.

I don't care about you.

Armaan spoke suddenly catching her off guard, his eyes still fixed ahead as he watched the rain pour down from the sky.

Jhooth bolna band karo.

Abhira said in a matter of fact tone turning to look at him.

She crossed her arms across her chest. His heart skipped a beat.

Ab batao door kyun bhaag rahe thy mujhse?

Abhira asked softly. She knew the answer but wanted to hear it from him.

Armaan,s heart felt heavy with the weight of his emotions and he chose to stay silent and looked at the other side.

Armaan.

Abhira called out softly. She reached out and gently cradled his chin drawing his gaze back to her. He looked into her eyes and his heart skipped a beat.

Bolo.

She said gently.

Armaan gulped the lump that formed in his throat and took a step back. He walked towards the other side. Abhira followed him and reached out, her touch tender as she held his hand and locked her fingers with his.

Armaan looked at her. The thunder rumbling outside mirrored the storm that ragged within him threatening to tear him apart.

I don't know.

Armaan said, a mixture of hesitation and uncertainty swirling within his eyes.

He reached out and cradled her cheek, his hand trembling with the weight of his emotions which coursed through him.

This all is so overwhelming.

He confessed, his voice trembling. A tear trailed down his cheek as the storm ragging within him threatened to tear him apart.

Abhira,s heart trembled as his words sunk in, a mixture of emotions flooded through her heart and she reached out, brushing the lone tear away that escaped his eye with a tender touch. She reached out and cautiously circled her arms around his broad shoulders pulling him into a tender embrace.

Armaan, lost in thoughts, felt the warmth of her body against him and gasped. Surprise flickering across his features and his hands trembled with a mixture of hesitation and longing. He gulped the lump that formed in his throat and then his hands found their way to her waist as he responded to the hug.

Abhira gently rubbed his back trying to offer him the comfort he needed, her touch grounding him against the emotional turmoil ragging within him.

Armaan.

Abhira called out softly. Armaan didn't hear her and tightened the hug, his eyes snapped shut as relief washed over him in waves.

As if understanding his silent plea, she tightened her arms around him, her heart aching with the weight of his pain.

Thanks Abhira.

He said, his voice filled with gratitude.

Abhira slowly pulled away from the hug but not completely and cradled his face in her palms.

Why?

Abhira asked, her eyes searching his for answers. Her heart skipped a beat.

No.

Her heart pleaded. She wasn't ready to hear the words that were about to escape his lips.

Thanks Abhira. Mere sath rehne ke liye.

Armaan said, his voice filled with gratitude.

Abhira looked like someone has twisted a knife deeper into her heart, deeper then she cared to admit.

Armaan looked at her as she cradled his face in her palms, her hand felt warm against his skin and he gazed at her.

She shook her head sideways and stepped forward.

Main rehna chahati hoon tumhare sath.

Abhira said, her voice filled with sincarity and he smiled feeling a spark of hope igniting within him.

She carefully made him lay on the bed. He watched as she sank down on the bed beside him. She turned and looked at him, the tender look in her eyes made his heart skip a beat. Her hand trembled with hesitation as she held onto his hand. Armaan smiled feeling his heart full seeing her smiling at him. A soft sigh escaped his lips and his eyes fluttered close.

Abhira looked at him. Her heart skipped several beats as she reached out and with a mixture of hesitation and uncertainty, held his hand. She gazed at him with a soft smile playing on her face. After he fell asleep. She reached out, her hands stopping just before his hair and she eyed him, a mixture of tenderness and affection flooding through her heart, a tear trailed down her cheek with she quickly wiped and held his both hands falling asleep right beside him.

She leaned forward and propped herself on her elbow gazing at him with a tender smile. She bent over and planted a kiss above his hair, her words a soft whisper laden with sincarity.

Main tumhein chor ker kahin nahin jaungi.

She continued to look at him for hours, maybe or two. She didn't count. She didn't feel the need to count. Soon her eyes snapped shut and her head fell onto the soft mattress as sleep consumed her completely.

Armaan opened his eyes, a smile playing on his face as he watched her. His eyes a mixture of tenderness and something else, something deeper which left him puzzled. He continued to smile at her with his heart pounding wildly against his chest. His hand reached up, caressing the spot where Abhira had kissed him. His heart raced in his chest as he watched their interlocked hands. He tightened his hold on their interlocked hands and gazed at her for any sign of discomfort or resistance but got none, instead a sigh of contentment escaped her lips. His smile brightened and he reached out gently tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Meri stationary ki dukaan.

Armaan said, his voice and eyes filled with tenderness as he held her hand firmly.
