As soon you arrive at school, you dramatically throw your bag over your shoulder. Letting out a big sigh as you walk away from the car following behind Bonnie and Isabelle. You check your bag remembering that you had got your assignment done and ready to hand it in. So what if it's a week late. I'm sure no one will mind. As you are so focused on fining your paper. You almost walk into Elena.
Y/n-" sorry Elena. I was so busy trying to find my paper that I didn't watch where I was going."
Elena-" no worries. You're not missing much. Except there being a new guy who everyone can't stop looking at."
You look over and see a tall blond guy. Leather jacket and sunglasses. He seems mysterious. But you haven't got time to worry about boys. Not now. It's never been something that has happened. The only odd comments from Tyler. But that's Tyler. Eww.
You snap out of your daydream when you hear the bell. You better get to class. You Bonnie Isabelle and Elena all walk in together. It feels good having us girls back together again. Apart from the bonfire last night we haven't really spent time together over the summer. Understandable as we all were doing our own things.
The crowd if flooding with students and it hits me of the realisation. Elena isn't with us. I look around for her.
Y/n-"isabelle, do you know where Elena wondered off to. She was right behind me?"
Isabelle-"looks like she had made a friend."
She laughed under her breath and pointed in the direction of the lockers. Elena is talking to the new guy. You wasn't surprised at all. It's just her luck to be talking to the attractive ones. You and Isabelle walked to the next class and throughout class there was nothing but flirting between Elena and Stefan. You were able to listen to your teacher and get some notes. But you missed quite a lot.
You got up as class had been dismissed. But you hear someone call your name
Teacher-" miss y/l/n. May I have a word?"
Y/n-"sure?"
Teacher-" mr Salvatore. You too ?"
Stefan-" yeh, what's up"
Teacher-" so I understand that miss y/l/n has been falling very behind on most of the work I have been set. And I also understand from the incredible recommendations presented on mr Salvatore's enrolment here that he is top of the class. I would like to ask you mr Salvatore if you could so generously provide miss y/l/n with a few tutoring sessions?"
You look down. You feel so embarrassed that this was in front of the new guy.
Stefan-" no problem. I would be happy to help"
Teacher-" great. Well I will see you next week"
You both begin to walk out the class room. But you couldn't help but feel really embarrassed. Maybe he didn't want to actually help and he is only saying that to give the teacher an idea.
Y/n-" listen, you really don't have to tutor me. I know your new and you probably won't want to spend your time teaching someone who is never going to understand"
Stefan-"your Elena's friend arnt you?"
Y/n-"erm yeh? How do you know that."
Stefan-" she mentioned you. And another girl. Isabelle. And one other. Bonnie. We talked before class"
Y/n-" yeh well she is kind. And a great friend."
You were struggling to talk. You felt nervous about talking to new people. It wasn't really your thing.
Stefan-"well if you would want to. I will mention to Elena that I wanna study. Just to help others as-well and then I will ask her to ask you guys. That way it's not like I have been told to tutor you. But for us all to hang out.
Y/n-" you have been here a day. And already made plenty of friends. Are you sure you would do that. Because like I said, I don't mind doing it on my own.
Stefan-" if you wanted to do it. I think you would have started earlier and your teacher wouldn't have asked for someone to tutor you.
He said laughing to himself. You laughed along. You both walked to class and continued with that. Until the end of school
