"Come on Calysta, even your boyfriend is coming to this party! Beg, sneak out, do SOMETHING." I hear my best friend, Ashley whine over the phone. She's begging desperately for me to go to this huge party blowout, which I of course can't go to, because it just has to be past curfew.
"Ash, I really can't go. It starts at 12 and there's no way my parents are going to agree to me being out so late. Even they're not naïve enough to believe there won't be drinking and drugs." I say impatiently.
"Do you really want Jordan to go to the party without you? What if he gets drunk or high and cheats on you? If he can do it once sober, he can definitely do it under the influence." she says quickly.
"Are you kidding me? It was once, over a year ago. And he didn't entirely cheat if you think about it. He asked for nudes. At least he didn't go and sleep with another girl..." I say, eventually drifting off.
"So you're sneaking out then?" Ash says amused.
I think for a moment. "I'm coming to pick you up in 30 minutes. You better be ready." I finally decide.

Gosh, how I miss drinking. I love feeling the burn going down my throat. I love the feeling of fire in my stomach. I miss feeling free, dancing, drinking, and grinding away. I feel Jordan, my amazing boyfriend of two years, holding my hips as they sway against him. I feel carefree and I feel undying happiness.
Then I feel the back pocket of my jeans vibrate, as it's been doing all night. I finally decide to pick up the phone to see a call from my older brother, Alan. I answer the phone wondering why he's calling so late. I hear him speak and I drop my drink.
My happiness died.

I run up the porch steps of my home, open the door and see many policemen standing in my living room with my three brothers. My older brothers, Alan and Richard, look up at me with tears in their eyes. Poor little Alex looks very confused as to what's going on, as am I. A policeman soon approaches me.
"Calysta? Come sit down on the couch with your brothers, honey." he says, as he puts his hand on my back and leads me to take a seat.
"Why are there so many policemen here? Where's mom and dad?" I ask my brothers.
The police man asks for my attention to explain something. "Calysta, have you been checking your phone all night?" he asks me.
"No." I respond. "But I picked up the phone when Alan called. Why?"
"You should check your phone at this moment and take a small glance as to what happened." he requests.
I pick up my iPhone and see 62 text messages, 11 missed calls, and 1 voicemail. My heart drops. I decide to take a look at the text messages before I listen to the voicemail.
Mommy: Honey come down and get your backpack from the living room.
?
Calysta, where are you?
You better not have gone to that party!
Answer your phone!
You better answer me now or I WILL come down to that party to get you.
Calysta, listen to me, I love you and I need you to pick up the phone right now.
Ok, well I'm coming to you then.
